Made it across over the last few days in 14 hours and 38 min, recreated TWA flight 960 from Washington DC to Paris via New York, Gander and Shannon. great trip i must say and truely tested my skills on the last leg, had 3/4 mile of vis coming into LFPO

I have found if i reduce MAP slowly at around 1 every 3 seconds till i get to 15in, and reduce to as low as 1500rpm depending on how steep i want to descend, I can get max just over 1000fpm down while not getting any shock cooling or the like but generally i will descend at around 500fpm from 150nm ...

you can update it, but its a pain. you need to have access to a subscription from Jeppessen and use the file that gets put on the gard you put in the gps, I got mine through my flight school when i was there. but its getting it into the GTN trainer thats a pain takes a good 5 min just to find the ex...

My recommendation for drop ins are NZRC, NZQN, NZMF, NZMC, NZNS, NZOM, NZWN, NZFI, NZAP, NZAR, all great airfield that pose their own unique challenge
