Re: A2A helicopter

Like already posted; Dodosim 206. It is already for fsx and the best helicopter simulation out there for FSX. Look it up and check out al its features; hot engine start (EGT overtemp), engine failure due to chips, tail rotor failures, settling with power (vortex ring state), ... The only problem is ...

Re: Fuel tank selector cock

Awesome, thank you for the heads up. This was in my opinion the only thing missing from making the Spitfire perfect. Can't wait to suddenly have my engine cut out because I forgot the lower fuel tank cock and not watching the fuel pressure.

Re: Fuel tank selector cock

Just applied the 07-15-2014 update and the fuel cock behavior is still the same. Are there any plans to change them back in a next update, or is it to deep in the code. It kills the immersion abit when you have to wait until the top tank is empty and the bottom tank is below full before you can know...

Re: Accu-Sim Core Update v.1.6 (includes the C172 Trainer)

I've installed the 1.6 for the Spitfire, but the fuel cock selector "bug" (http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35764) is still there. Is it possible to re-introduce this feature like in the original Spitfire accu-sim version?

Re: Nosewheel range

Geoff, We did our own measurements of the front wheel deflection, but it was by eye since I couldn't find anything in the maintenance manuals to show this value. Do you have anything documented that says it is 30 deg? Scott. http://imageshack.us/scaled/landing/541/8zlz.jpg This is from the "17...

Re: Flying using keyboard

... the default keybinding should be strg+y to activate it.... Haha, thank you for this. Whenever I'm away I have fsx on my laptop and fly using the mouse. BUT I had no idea there was a key bind for mouse control. So when I wanted to click something in the cockpit (like Spitfire fuel gauge) I had t...

Re: Rudder trouble

I seem to remeber this also happend to a previous model (I think P-51). The rudder could not be used by keyboard buttons. This had to be resolved by an update. It seems this is the same problem like then. Edit: Found the thread from back then. http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=94&t...

Fuel tank selector cock

I updated the spitfire accusim core to 1.5.2. Not sure what previous core update was installed, but it was an much older one. The technique I use to be aware of when the Mk II top tank was out of fuel, was to fly with the top tank fuel cock ON and bottom tank fuel cock OFF. So when the top tank was ...
