Re: Comanche frequent hopping while in the air
It's very hard to tell from such a short clip, but no, this doesn't look like normal turbulence. Are the 'hops' associated with drops in frame rate? You check this if you open the frame rate monitor in developer mode which should clearly show any such drops as a spike in frame time. Thanks, Nick Hi...

Re: LVAR / Keyboard Command for UPDATE DIGITAL ENGINE MONITOR
Noted and thanks.
Regarding your question, I'm not fmailiar with SPAD.neXt either. However, probably it won't allow to set a variable to the value of another variable.
Thanks again and I'll see if there are other ways to do it.

Re: LVAR / Keyboard Command for UPDATE DIGITAL ENGINE MONITOR
Hi Nick, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, adding L_FuelMainTanks and L_FuelTipTanks returns the value of L_FuelTotalizerRemainingFuel I am sorry that I did not express my question clearly. I am looking for the "command or LVAR" that equals to the action of "mouse-clicking the UPDATE D...

LVAR / Keyboard Command for UPDATE DIGITAL ENGINE MONITOR
Hello, Instead of mouse-clicking the button of "UPDATE DIGITAL ENGINE MONITOR" to refresh the EDM status via the tablet in the virtual cockpit, is there any keyboard command performing the same "UPDATE DIGITAL ENGINE MONITOR" action? Or Is there a LVAR associated with the "U...

Re: C172 and Saitek FIP Panels
Hi Rick, very well said.
I saw the "dissertation" last night but ignored it. There are people always thinking they are the smartest.
You are right that SPAD, Linda, FSUIPC have nothing to do with the FIPs.

Re: C172 and Saitek FIP Panels
Yes, Rob. I really like to seek for a solution rather than just getting a refund. Let's try dealing with the gauges one by one, and aim for a fix for the RPM reading first. Following is what I and most people are using: <Value Minimum="0" Maximum="35">(A:General eng1 rpm,RPM) 100...

Re: C172 and Saitek FIP Panels
Hi Rob, Thanks for the note and sorry to hear that. Does it mean that above gauge issues wouldn't be supported for the moment? If no, I'll look forward to getting further solution suggestions from you guys. If yes, should I send you the Order Confirmation and Payment Receipt by pm for the refund? Fr...

Re: C172 and Saitek FIP Panels
BTW, if above gauge reading issues couldn't be solved, wonder if a refund is possible ? Because the product is simply "unserviceable" in my setup.

To "visualize" the issues raised, following are links to the images showing the RPM readings on: 1) Saitek FIP (two different versions) 2) RF Cockpit (on iPAD) http://fsxtimes.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/g01b.jpg 3) FSi C172 Cockpit (on iPAD) http://fsxtimes.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/g02...

Re: C172 and Saitek FIP Panels
The solution is rather easy, you can ask us what is the variable name for given gauge and use it instead of the default one. For example the RPM gauge: <Value Minimum="0" Maximum="35">(A:General eng1 rpm,RPM) 100 /</Value> raplace (A:General eng1 rpm,RPM) with (L:Eng1_RPM,RPM), ...
