Re: constant pitch prop`
I would be curious to understand the reasons behind the desire to pull the power back so soon. I agree with Esa about the knowledge, techniques and habits passed along by each instructor is a part of the greater learning experience. Everyone has past training, experiences, opinions and rationalizati...

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for MSFS is in beta testing
Are we counting TKS equipped Cirrus? These are a very common sights over here. It very pretty to look at the leading edge of those wings. The system alone must be worth more than some light singles.

Re: 1st flight in MSFS Comanche?
I've flown to KLHV a couple of times IRL, it was one of the first airports I flew into in MSFS and they do the area justice in there. There is some nice natural scenery in the area and the airport is sandwiched between two high mountain ridges running parallel to the runways. One must make make thei...

Re: Carb heat for C172
The default 172 in MSFS2020 is fuel injected, therefore no carb heat. Then again the engine simulation is non existent so it doesn't really mean much as far as engine behavior performance goes.
Once A2A gets around to adding a carbureted aircraft into that sim, then that will be worth your while.

Re: C172 problems
So you are still unable to repair anything in the 172 after the simconnect reinstall? Just checking, as it will still need to be repaired in the maintenance hangar. This is a headscratcher for me... I can't say I've ever seen this one not resolved this way on these forums.

Re: C172 Trainer issues
Firstly stop reinstalling. This happened to me when I first installed the a2a several years ago. It was the first complex addon for me. I believe direct x would cause visual issues. This sounds a lot like a problem with sim connect. You should be able to close the sim, re install simconnect reboot t...

Re: Disable bungee system for crosswind landings/takeoffs?
Think of the bungee system that couples of the aileron/rudder system as a "trim" change where the change varies by the amount of control input through the ailerons and/or rudder pedals. In theory, the rudder would deflect slightly as one deflects the ailerons and vice versa. Of note is tha...

What RPM and manifold pressure are you seeing when doing a static runup to full power?
What is the elevation of the airfield?

Sorry, I'm confusing threads, I see you did check that. As was asked by ClipperLuna, when you do a static runup to full power, what MAP and RPM are you seeing?

Re: Where Flight Simulation is Going is 2023
The future was bright for all of those products too, until it wasn't. One difference I see this time, and the only reason I decide to purchase MSFS2020 was the community attitude toward MSFS2020 vs Flight and FSW. I didn't bother with FSW as I didn't want to invest in a platform that the community ...

Re: Difference between the FSX vs the P3D aircraft models?
The cost is covering the additional development effort required to integrate and continually adjust the P3D versions of the product to the evolving P3D platform. While there may be some feature tweaks to the products, they have previously stated that they could not treat them as an upgrade given the...

Re: Where Flight Simulation is Going is 2023
I acquired MSFS2020 last week. I am running a Phenom II X4 955 GTX 960 4GB 16Gb DDR3 RAM 512GB SSD TrackIR X56 Hotas and Saitek pedals It's getting old, but it runs stable. I get a rock steady 18 FPS on MSFS on mostly low/med settings in 1080p even when flying over NYC in my RW stomping grounds. It ...
