Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020
Jon, we can't port any airplanes to FS2020 or any flight sim for that matter. Every airplane we make from this point on, whether it's for FS2020 or P3D is being developed with completely different tools. The end result that the user sees will not be all that different, but from our point of view (d...

Re: ChasePlane motion effects
Thanks for the reply but my question was about the ChasePlane motion effects, not any effects of the sim or A2A itself.

ChasePlane motion effects
I am flying the Comanche again and bought ChasePlane in the meantime. I notice the cockpit shakes/trembles a little bit. Nice effect but I was wondering if I should disable all ChasePlane motion effects OR if I should use the default settings OR if there are any realistic settings for this: I like e...

Re: Around the world in the Comanche.. Finally
Wow... my goodness! Did you actually fly all those legs without saving in between? Did you really sit for 6 to 7 hours behind your computer to complete each leg in one go...?!

Re: P3Dv4 version
Hi I have the FSX Comanche, can someone tell me if the v4 version is finished and can be downloaded? Thanks, Lennie Gamage The current P3D version of the Comanche also works with v4 (and has been working in it for quite some time already). For 4.1 you also have to install the latest update (A2A_Upd...

Downloaded new installer: do I still need the update?
I am using P3D v4.1. I just downloaded a new installer for the Comanche. Is the latest update (10/12/2017) included or do I still need to install it?

Re: Carb heat and Cabin heat
J van E, The fluid physics of these things, is sort of like placing your thumb over a hose. If you just move your thumb a little, a lot of water flows. Removing it completely adds more, but it's not linear, it's exponential. So, yes, when you crack the carb heat, a good but of heat comes in. Maybe ...

Might help if you say which version/paint exactly doesn't work.

Re: Alternator Switch
So, how is the pilot supposed to check the alternator function? And how come the manual gives so precise instructions about a switch which is not at all present? Have I overlooked something? As I posted the information about the alternator was accidently left in the Comanche manual: a lot of the in...

Re: Alternator Switch
The Comanche doesn't have an ALT switch... and my meter also always shows 0. Don't know if this is a bug or not. Maybe that alternator info from the manual was accidently copied from another manual...?

Re: Bug induced by 4.1 ?
Guys, the reason for this issue is that in one of the latest builds of 4.1 LM has fixed a long standing bug in the SDK (carried over from FSX days), which changed the units used by one of the variables in the sim. We have custom ground handling model for our aircraft, and this broke our steering ca...

Re: Bug induced by 4.1 ?
Good to hear. Although this apparently means it is something LM has to fix and A2A can't do anything about it, right?some1 - A2A wrote:Reinstalling the sim won't help. We have found a possible source of the issue in 4.1 and reported it to Lockheed.

Re: Bug induced by 4.1 ?
Question: did any of you who is having problems do a complete reinstall? The guy on Avsim who found out about this problem just posted he solved it by doing a complete reinstall of the entire sim. And that also means completely removing every trace of LM in the various folders (also the hidden ones).

Re: P3D 4.1 has been released: will everything still work?
In fact, I've only now discovered the fresh air vents rotate and there are all manner of light switches in the roof! LOL That took you quite some time...! :P The first thing I always do in a new plane is checking out ALL buttons and switches and knobs and whatever. Anyway, good to know that things ...
