Make sure the glideslope is active before you activate LOC NORM. The localizer is usually activated further away, so it is an easy mistake to arm LOC NORM too soon.

Re: Accu-Sim Update 04_20_2015 - DOWNLOAD
Since the update I noticed a change in the civvie P-51D's engine behaviour. When applying my normal cruise settings (I always cruise at 60 GPH at 2300 RPM) I noticed I had to set my manifold pressure about 5" higher than usual to achieve the desired fuel flow. Is this a result of the increased ...

Re: Cherokee 180 Autopilot.
From what you describe in your second point i'd say the Realair Legacy might be the way to go.

Re: Transatlantic trip in single engine (Piper Cherokee)
I've done it in the civilian Mustang as part of a world trip. My itinerary (a good 285 hours of flight time so far) can be viewed on the following map: https://www.google.nl/maps/ms?msid=200671480101920083254.0004d175449de61760e12&msa=0&ll=25.085599,100.810547&spn=22.257101,23.730469 You...

Re: Difference between Military/Civilian
It's not equipped with a NAV2-radio, just COM1, NAV1, ADF and a transponder. It's all you really need though.

Re: Difference between Military/Civilian
All systems like the engine are identical. The biggest difference is indeed as you say the cockpit layout. In the civilian version you get a modern set of avionics including navigation radios, a GPS and also an autopilot. Lastly there are some minor aesthetic differences in the model and you lose th...

Re: Airport Gates
You can indeed pick any gate, parking spot on the ramp and fuel station. Unfortunately they are only numbered, so you have no idea where on the airfield you will actually spawn.

You can change the avionics in the shift-3 menu (the button which says GNS400 or No GPS in your case).

Re: Rudder trouble
Having the same issue here. I only use a very simple joystick without rudder pedals, so I operate the rudder with buttons on my stick. Since this way of control input isn't really great to use while flying I have autorudder enabled, which turns out to be a good temporary solution in this case. When ...
