It's not equipped with a NAV2-radio, just COM1, NAV1, ADF and a transponder. It's all you really need though.

You can indeed pick any gate, parking spot on the ramp and fuel station. Unfortunately they are only numbered, so you have no idea where on the airfield you will actually spawn.

You can change the avionics in the shift-3 menu (the button which says GNS400 or No GPS in your case).

Did you match the heading bug on your directional gyro to the OBS-setting?

Having the same issue here. I only use a very simple joystick without rudder pedals, so I operate the rudder with buttons on my stick.
