Re: Real world Pilots
I have a ASEL and AMEL Commercial Certificate
Have flown a good chunk of 172, and 182 variants
PA-28's in both wing variants and retractable and fixed
PA-23 (aztec)
GA8
C208B's
and a handfull of other odd end airplanes
nothing special just another dude with a certificate

Re: A2A Development Update 4/8/18
Yeah, I don't get how it's in alpha when it was almost ready for release back in December. Shouldn't it have been in at least beta if release was so close? Guess it'll be a Christmas release, like the Constellation which also was released much later than planned. Mm, yeah I prefer when they say not...

I'd like to find a copy of "Flying the Beech Bonanza" by John Eckalbar. According to the description on Amazon: "John Eckalbar has packed Flying the Beech Bonanza with more than twenty chapters of information you will find from no other source. *How much help are flaps in getting ove...

T-34C would be a blast!caleb1 wrote:I wouldn't mind a turboprop either. I would probably prefer a higher performance/business aircraft such as a TBM/Pilatus PC-12/Epic, etc. better than a rugged plane like the Skyvan or Caravan, but I am not sure what everyone else would prefer.

Re: The secret airplane in development
Ugly gets the job done, Like the Cessna Caravan. Well, yes and no. Knowing both types in slight depth, Caravan is rather simple, modestly rugged airplane with rather good product support and support systems. Skyvan is of unnecessarily difficult design, relatively fragile construction and lacks of f...

Re: A2A Development Update 4/8/18
Really looking forward to this! I’m fortunate to have a little bit of time in a V Tail and I loved every minute of it. I told my wife that someday we need to trade in the Cherokee (which I love, too) and buy an A36. She’s not convinced, but I sure am! Maybe this will help her see the ...

Re: The secret airplane in development
A T-34C is a very good possibility, I could see an Air Combat outfit contracting A2A for a study sim T-34C. If you ran an Air Combat outfit that takes up customers with little or no flight experience, an A2A designed training sim would be an excellent tool to have around. If this is true, it would ...

Re: The secret airplane in development
Logical progression on this would be a T-34 Mentor. I am surprised that this has not been the go to idea here. It's a warbird that is essentially a smashed flat Bonanza with a straight tail, and lots of places in the US have dog fighting experiences that use the T-34, and 90kias at 18,000ft to make...

Re: A2A Development Update Dec 2017
OK Lewis reminded me that we promised something by the end of March.... We're caught between a rock and a hard place - at some point down the road I will be able to explain in detail what we're doing and why we had to remain so quiet. But in the meantime, we will reveal this weekend our current Acc...
