Re: msfs addons from A2A When?

Thanks for the clarification. I understand you're unwilling to make any firm commitments at the moment, but is there any chance the existing GA planes might be redone for MSFS?

New Comanche? oh yes...
fs2020?
As much as I'd love it to be the case, I suppose it's the Comanche 400 for P3D... ;-)

Re: A2A Aerostar flights

Absolutely great to hear, yes. Unfortunately It will be better to do this when we're actively using these to build the physics. the future tense here sounds like the whole project would still be a long way out. Yep, I'm starting to worry it'll be quite a while before we see A2A birds in MSFS. That'...

So stay tuned. You are right on the verge of being able to experience something you will REALLY LIKE.
Asobo and A2A will be a marriage literally made in heaven !
Well, someone has to ask... ;-) Exactly how much "on the verge" are we right now?

Best regards,
Tym

Re: Liking MSFS2020

Oh boi, I've been holding off on MSFS2020 for now, but with a recommend like that, I just might have to pull the trigger. This 152 you have been flying, is it with the "realism mod" I've been hearing about? (This: https://simnews.co/2020/11/20/cessna-152-realism-mod-for-msfs/). Been quite a while s...

Re: Question on the Pan view physics in FS2020

Glad I could help! :D The new sim has quite a few nice touches like that, a lot of thought seems to have gone into UI/usability improvements. I keep discovering little things that make me smile. For example, have you tried doing a "timelapse" with the time slider at night in or above a city? I've no...

Re: Question on the Pan view physics in FS2020

First, go to the Camera menu (available on the toolbar at the top of the screen while in the plane) and see the option called Freelook Momentum. If you set it to zero, the pan will stop instantly, but you may experiment to see if another value works better for you. Please note that this setting will...

I'll leave the technical stuff to the experts, but let me just say I'm really glad you two managed to get out of that unscathed.

Re: New version of P3Dv5.1 out today.........opinions?

You can safely uninstall P3D 5.0, the Orbx and A2A folders will be left intact. Do not manually remove any of the settings files, especially those in the Documents folder. Then, you can perform a fresh installation of 5.1 and it will pick up your add-ons automatically. I'd avoid messing with individ...

Re: Thinking about p3dv5

There are some noticeable (sometimes very noticeable) performance gains, especially in the areas which have always been problematic (such as Seattle and the San Juan Islands). The problem is that v5 was released before it was ready, really, so there are stability and compatibility issues at the mome...

Beauties, absolute beauties :) I've just realized it's been almost seven years now, but I still only fly your N4420R... If you ever find the time to redo that one for v5, I'd be super grateful.

Cheers,

The update may have reinstalled the color profile for your monitor, see if anything has changed in the "Color management" panel.

Re: Just one lovely picture of the Bonanza...

Niiiice :) I have to admit v5 has been growing on me, too, despite the initial problems. One question, though... Are you using any shader mods? The one issue I still haven't resolved is the overdone contrast in v5, especially in the VC, but the panel in your shot looks perfect.

Re: Error 525 for forum and site

Hi Vladi,

It appears that the release of the free P-40 (a classy move, BTW!) has caused a huge surge in traffic that overwhelmed the servers. It's been happening for everyone since the release...

HTH,
Tym
