The A2A Simulations Community

You guys knocked it out of the park with this and I haven't even flown it yet. That engine simulation is incredible! Something I have always been frustrated with in the sim is the canned engine behavior. The wait is worth it for sure! Welcome back!

We are still waiting on the first release for MSFS which will be the Comanche. It is currently in beta so should be right around the corner. As for the other aircraft in the fleet, we don't know.

If this new version can model flight physics really accurately and it matches the real aircraft, what about keeping it simple? I'm thinking Accu-Flight.

I have my flaps configured for the pinky switch on the throttle. Mixture is the top rotary on the throttle and prop pitch on the rotary below it. ok so I did more research on it and apparently the IO-360-L2A uses Bendix S 1200 mags which have a shower of sparks system instead of an impulse coupling.

I've also heard that if you just shutdown an injected engine it may take a little finnesse to get it restarted until it has cooled.

It seems like the RPM of the fan would be one of the biggest issues. How did they control it? Was it just like a constant speed prop?
