Re: Introducing The A2A Comanche: Built with Accu-Sim (coming soon)
You guys knocked it out of the park with this and I haven't even flown it yet. That engine simulation is incredible! Something I have always been frustrated with in the sim is the canned engine behavior. The wait is worth it for sure! Welcome back!

Re: A2A - MSFS
We are still waiting on the first release for MSFS which will be the Comanche. It is currently in beta so should be right around the corner. As for the other aircraft in the fleet, we don't know.

Re: We need something new in the name for Accu-Sim
If this new version can model flight physics really accurately and it matches the real aircraft, what about keeping it simple? I'm thinking Accu-Flight.

Re: We have never been good about talking about projects in development
I don't post much on here, however I can say without a doubt that I know the wait will be worth it. I know you guys are working hard to make the best simulation of a Comanche that you can. You haven't let me down yet and I can't wait to re learn the aircraft in MSFS. Been waiting to get back into th...

Re: The Not-so-official 182 paint request thread
I attempted to do this as a repaint a few times and they never seemed to work quite right. I know it's a 207, but I always thought it would look great on the 182http://www.airliners.net/photo/San-Juan ... on/2347806

Re: New Engine Break-In Procedures of Accu-Sim Aircraft?
When I first get into an accusim aircraft, I like to perform a break in like what would be done in real life just for immersion. As far as I have noticed, not performing a break in with the accusim aircraft doesn't affect compressions or oil consumption, but it's a habit I've developed from working ...

Re: Aviation Career
Aviator, I got through college before I went to a flight school. It could be difficult to work and go to two schools at the same time. I would study physics, math, and possibly some basic meteorology. That way you will be better prepared for getting your PPL and eventually your commercial/ATP. You c...

Re: Aviation Career
Aviator, I am very impressed that you already have an idea on the career you want to do. A career in aviation is a good choice because it is so broad. I was a lot like you when i was younger: After my first visit to an aviation museam i knew i wanted to do something related to airplanes. My career c...

Re: Help with Saitek X55 Rhino Controller
I have my flaps configured for the pinky switch on the throttle. Mixture is the top rotary on the throttle and prop pitch on the rotary below it. Landing gear is set to the red button on the throttle. I also have my brakes set for the trigger on the stick and the starter on the pinky button below it...

I am also having issues unzipping the file. it says that the destination folder can't be found. im not using a download manager. I'm wondering if windows 8 has something to do with it.

Re: C172 Magneto question
ok so I did more research on it and apparently the IO-360-L2A uses Bendix S 1200 mags which have a shower of sparks system instead of an impulse coupling.

C172 Magneto question
So a few quarters ago at school we were talking about how some engines use an impulse coupling on the left mag to facilitate starting. However, there is usually no impulse coupling on the right mag. I was wondering if this is modeled in the 172? If I lose the left mag and don't catch it before attem...

Fuel shutoff wasn't open?
Primer was left unlocked?
I've also heard that if you just shutdown an injected engine it may take a little finnesse to get it restarted until it has cooled.

Re: The Unducted Fan
It seems like the RPM of the fan would be one of the biggest issues. How did they control it? Was it just like a constant speed prop?
