Re: GPU
I just posted about the GPU that was an addon for Carenado and I found it works with the C172. Try it with the Civil P-51. Its over at AVSIM.

Maintenance Hanger
There is no click to remove the spinner in my T6 Texan Maintenance Hanger. I have repaired in Control Panel with no change and then did a complete new install after removing the Texan and still no way to remove the spinner. I see repaints that have no spinner. What's broke? After moving my mou...

WWII Pilots for the T6 Texan
Its nice to have a choice of headgear, but Champion Ballcap or "Bone Dome" is not appropriate for a WWII Texan, not a restoration but a 1943 version. You could make a choice of "leather AN-H-16", "khaki AN-H-15" or "khaki garrison cap" and it would be fantasti...

Re: B17 won't steer
I have the A2A B-17 w/Accusim. I am fortunate to have bought the GoFlight TQ6 Throttle Quadrant a number of years ago (8) and it is still functioning beautifully. Consequently, I have no problem using my engines to steer. Actual practice was NOT to use the brakes to steer as it would wear them out a...

Re: B-17 F model
As I said, I really liked the AH B17F until disappointed by it being not accurate as I think it should have been for a payware aircraft inexpensive or not. I have someone I know who is very knowledgeable in FSX going to try and mesh it with Real Engine but I feel that without turbos or intercoolers ...

B-17 F model
I know that someone asked this once before, but I am asking a year later...I was really quite excited when Aeroplane Heaven just produced a B-17F in 3 different models with really nice exteriors BUT and it is a big one, they only modeled 90% of the controls AND the turbo levers (yes 4 like the F had...

B17G to B17F
I modified the blank od texture today from Nath and removed the chin turret because the aircraft I want to do is an F with no chin turret not a B17G however, being a novice at this, I forgot that the chin turret is still there in the .MDL file though it is dark gray with no texture on it. Therefore,...

Re: B-17 Throttle Quadrant Levers
There are six levers on the Goflight Quadrant so I use the leftmost lever A for the (4)propeller pitch levers; the next four levers B-E for the four throttles and the rightmost lever for the (4) mixture levers. I control the turbo with my mouse with no problem when I fly. The throttles are the most ...

B-17 Throttle Quadrant Levers
I have a GoFlight TQ6 throttle Quadrant I have had now for 5 years and I like it a lot, works great. (No I don't get any royalties from GoF LOL). Since I don't have all the machining equipment any more since retiring and closing my shop to make a quadrant like Francois' though I'd love to. I am goin...

Re: A newer radio setup
This works great!!! I was able to add a complete King Radio Panel with 2 Comms; 2 Navs; 1ADF and 1 ATC. I also added the FSX conversion of the FS2X GNS530 GPS in place of the Map so that the Navigator really "plots" the course and heading using the GPS as navigator. Also figured out how to...

Re: A newer radio setup
Thanks for that info. I thought that I had read that somewhere. I guess that the guys sharing are using the std version of WOP B17 not the Accusim. Thank you for the quick reply even though it is disappointing. Hope that someone will address the first part, but maybe its true for the same reason.

A newer radio setup
I have FS Panel Studio and have used it numerous times to update panels in other aircraft. I wanted to add Bendix-King radios to the B-17G Accusim and they install fine and work in the panel with one exception: Accusim becomes inoperative. Is this a normal occurrence if I update the panel/cockpit? I...

Re: TacPack for A2A Warbirds
I have a suggestion for Scott and Lewis if they are willing. Send an email to every customer in your database with an A2A Warbird with a short questionaire asking them if they would be willing to pay for a TacPac addon like Accusim is to the standard B-17 or other aircraft and would they be willing ...
