Is it worth it over the default MSFS live weather at this point do we think? I'm still on the fence about it having heard all this and others saying its not what the active sky next products were in P3D

Re: Next Plane For 2020
yea sadly i don't imagine water physics will be any better in 2024.
I would hope that with Accusim 2.0 A2A could do the best water physics in the whole sim. But forget having realistic water physics in FSX/P3Dv1-6/MSFS. Does Xplane have good water physics???

Re: Next Plane For 2020
Understandable. A2A met this problem in their Connie and Strat by having a very competent auto flight engineer, which made the workload of flying them comparable to any workload of 99% of the popular addons today. But if you wanted to turn off the AFE then you could dabble in the nitty gritty manage...

Re: Next Plane For 2020
MSFS not only needs more high quality GA aircraft. It also needs to fill out the library of vintage airliners, everything from the 707 to the 737/747 classic, the VC10, the Bristol Britannia, the Lockheed Tristar, the Connies, the B377, the DC-7, the Vickers Vanguard/Viscount. The Electra, the COMET...

Re: Next Plane For 2020
They did the Super Guppy variant back in the day so I can't imagine a C-97 variant as an addition to the passenger version would be terribly difficult. Its essentially the same thing with less windows. There was also the military air refueller that was the predecessor to the KC135. But, less applica...

Re: Next Plane For 2020
Yes I understand thats your feeling. Maybe simply using the word 'judgement' has an accusatory sense to it, especially on internet forums, for that I apologise. Maybe a better word to use is 'interesting that your discerning a non-military sim' etc etc etc Yea I'm looking forward to everything A2A r...

Re: Next Plane For 2020
Interesting that your judging a non-military simulator and all its aircraft as second best to military aircraft, that are more 'in their place' in other sims such as IL2 Great Battles, or DCS. Personally I keep my judgement of military addons for DCS and IL2, and I don't bother with military aircraf...

Re: Masters of the Air on Apple TV
Basically nobody brings simulation to the level that A2A do, some come close, and there are many flavours of quality to choose from depending on what you want. But we are all here for Accusim 2.0 and their releases. Can't get any better! The aerodynamics of the Comanche have made the aerodynamics of...

Re: Masters of the Air on Apple TV
The Lieutennant pumping the valvue on his right hand side to bring up fuel pressure, things like that that even remind me of the cockpit flows in the A2A B17. Ha..at that point in the film when the captain called to 'lets get this started' to paraphrase, I was watching it with my girlfriend and sai...

Re: Masters of the Air on Apple TV
Despite those things noted by DH, which I agree with. I found the first episode fun to watch, my grandfather was a B17G lieutennant in the 379th, I have his mission logs from 44-45, where he bombed progressively further and further east as the war dragged on. (so my user signature below 'she brought...

Thanks Stafford
I'm really looking forward to the next few A2A offerings for MSFS. Can't wait for the B377/Connie

Re: Next Plane For 2020
I talked about the hopes for A2A to do a DC-3 years back but that was before MSFS. And in P3D/FSX you've got fantastic freeware. So its not a space thats worth it financially. And as you've said, although the AH DC-3 and Duckworths mod isn't Accusim standards by any means, it fits the bill for 'most...

Re: A2A roadmap for 2024
I remember years ago giving Scott some feedback and saying A2A should generate a bit more hype as their products are so good. But I look back and now think I was completely wrong. Part of what makes A2A, is the fact that you know that there isn't going to be needless hype - is it going to be good? Y...
