Re: EULA Question: Recompiling A2A aircraft for FS2020?

To echo everyone else, it's very exciting to hear porting the existing fleet is being explored. They were clearly among the most advanced aircraft available for FSX/P3D, far beyond what anyone would have imagined possible in the early days of FSX. If they're brought forward to MSFS they'll be enjoye...

It's usually a good sign around here when the stickied topics get cleaned up a bit. Making room for a new announcement? :D :D :D

Re: SUGGESTION: Option Random age button for accusim aircraf

All of the GA planes have a feature to generate a used airplane (check everything in the hangar, often these are in no way safe to go flying in without some repairs). I believe the Texan also has it.

Re: A2A Development Update 4/8/18

Scott, when you say you are moving on, what do you mean exactly? Like no more GA airplanes? They are by far my favorite addons, even though I've been a customer since before the C172 was even announced. I love the warbirds, and I still buy them, but I love the reusablility of the GA planes. I love ...

Re: Secret mission

Personally, I think he was there to meet up with the guys in the Pirelli World Challenge who were at COTA last week to get sound for the top secret A2A foray into iRacing. :) [/quote] I would be SO down for having to maintain my iRacing vehicles to the same degree as an A2A aircraft. Of course due ...

Re: Chances of Release Before Christmas?

Since almost all of my flying revolves around using FSEconomy, I've been hopeful that A2A would soon release something that can be a little more profitable in that environment. Maybe something with six or more seats and the capability to realistically haul some small cargoes as well. A Beaver would ...

I guess no one behind this project has ever considered the lacking ability of aircraft to turn at speed.

I get the impression that OP expected some sort of in-sim training lessons to accompany the aircraft.

Re: Problem and idea with Accusim + Capitain of the ship :)

Its also a pretty good idea to just turn crashes off in FSX, at least with other vehicles. Couldn't tell you how many times a ground vehicle has ran into me or a 737 has flown through me on final.

Re: Dead Stick - No Fuel At 25,000'

How did your engines get wrecked? prop strike on landing? Shock cooling from being shut down at cruise speed and maintaining a reasonably high airspeed through the descent would have made cylinder head temps drop rapidly. In my early days of owning the 377 I practiced an engine shutdown and restart...

Re: The Accu-Sim Connie is in beta

Hey Warbirds. Your post shows the throttle arrangement of the B17. That throttle arrangement has me baffled, can you tell--or show how works. ? Thanks, CJ. This image probably explains it best. The outboard engines are the upper handles, inboard are the lower ones, and the two levers for each side ...

Re: VIDEO: ENGINE FIRE - Landing A2A Piper Cherokee 180

You seem to have decided that the cause of the failure/fire was that you didn't have an oil. However I think you would have killed the engine much sooner than you did. Seems more likely that a fuel leak caused an ignition and your oil lines burned, losing all the oil in the process.

Re: oh dear, this is hard to fly

This may seem a bit old fashioned, but has anyone tried reading the manuals, learning the systems, and going through checklists? Its a hell of a lot easier to learn this plane on the ground. Its actual flight characteristics are not the hard part, and especially not navigation. Learn how everything ...
