Re: Initialization error MSFS
Hey Nick, thanks for your reply. As far as I know the beta version is only possible with the steam edition of MSFS. I use the MS Store version. Where can I find the preview? Regards, Gega Open your start menu and search for Xbox Insider hub, go to "Previews", and check you're not joined w...

Yes, it's always openable and the text states that as long as changes are not made, the career mode will not be turned off.

Thomas, if you want to know your current weight while enroute, just press Shift+4... click the orange warning banner (read it first) and then look here:

Instrument Panel - Cannot Fix
The gauges in red are not able to be fixed, no amount of overhauling, complete repairing, or clicking on the individual gauges will fix them - even starting with a new airframe. What gives?

Re: Engines weird behavior
Wow! Good to know... such a shame though, flying without ActiveSky is nigh impossible. Maybe I'll just increase the download time from the lowest to a median value... say every hour or so as the METARs update.
Thanks Alan!
Thanks Alan!

Re: Engines weird behavior
Make sure 'Engine Stress Damages Engine' is off in the P3D Realism Settings... also, trying running without FSUIPC and without Active Sky. I've been trying to diagnose an issue where randomly, in flight, all controls will freeze and throttles will go full power... of course causing substantial damag...

Re: The not so official repaint request thread
Ohhh, that's a great looking V-Tail. What's her story? I agree. Tell us something about her. I'm trying to get a photo of the entire article from the owner, Don Hansen... short story is the aircraft was bought new by his father in the 50s, subsequently sold and lost for about 40 years, and then Don...

Re: Crashing in VR
Is it possible to utilize the A2A menus within VR? Using native VR, I'm unable to get anything to click on them... currently I am only able to operate the menus outside of VR.

Re: P3D v4.3
I had a hard controller freeze and the engines redlined... only way to save the ship was to kill and feather the engines and then use keyboard controls while gliding down in to a field - I've never had that happen before, but I'm not going to say it's the Connie just yet.
