Re: F2 2020 and A2A Simulations

Ballistix, just a thought, but when I had troubles with FSX-SE I usually right clicked on FSX in the game library and an option would come up to “check integrity of game files” or something to that effect. It might be worth a try in your instance as FSX-SE may not have re-installed completely or pe...

Re: F2 2020 and A2A Simulations

But it is a shame that you cannot have both FSX-SE & FS2020 installed on the same machine. At least that has been my experience. Even after uninstalling FSX-SE, FS2020 & Steam and reinstalling Steam and FSX-SE my FSX-SE is still messed up. So, you cannot even load FS2020 without basically giving up...

Re: F2 2020 and A2A Simulations

There could be hope with the P3D V4/5 installers but it's probably not gonna work which is a shame as I'd love to take my P 51 and soon to be back B 17 for a flight in the new sim. Nope, the data structure of MSF is completely different. Remember, it's basically an XBox application. You have that b...

Re: B-17?

Can we have a definitive answerer to the question; "Is A2A still going to convert the WOP2 B-17 with AccuSim to P3DV4 and P3DV5?" In a while, not that far away; in the early days of the Internet, write in big or in capital letters was equivalent to a rant. Dans un temps, pas si loin que ça; ...

Re: Newbie

Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right place... I don't usually get involved with forums but I felt I had to give some positive feedback on the FSX Cub (my first Accusim plane and in fact my first payware plane) - what a great model! After only a few short flights I'm hooked and can't go...

Re: FS2020 A2A Wishlist

Unfortunately, a Beaver has been requested for years, and repeatedly refused with the standard "no plans for a Beaver at this stage". But this is just wrong . Surely, given the Beaver's record and it's dedicated fans, how could you not make planes for an A2A Beaver?? I'll bet if Scott ever flew one...

Re: EULA Question: Recompiling A2A aircraft for FS2020?

Besides, flying the default planes for awhile will make me appreciate the A2A ones even more when they come out. :D To be fair the Katana and C152 are really well done for default aircraft. No engine simulation obviously but they feel quite real on the controls. Aye, those two are very fun to fly. ...

Re: Background Info on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

I've been watching some of these videos on YT and have to say they're mostly informative. One or two are done my people who display no knowledge of flight  , but mostly they're well done. This is clearly a generational change in the flight sim world and while there will still be bugs on relea...

Re: Has anyone done a pre-purchase on the new Microsoft FS 2020?

Isn't there a setting such as "pause on task switch" or something? Un-tick if there was. Thanks, Esa. There is indeed that setting, and I finally did unclick it. But I shouldn't have to, never happened in previous versions. Maybe it now considers Windows or Office checking for an update in the back...

Re: Will A2A be devoloping products for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Except for the absence of heavies, Flight had a better selection of aircraft than MSFS in my opinion. Hook I agree with you some what. There do seem to be a lot of "duplicates", such as the 152, 172 and 172 G1000, and all of those LSA planes that most I'd never even ~heard of before; and how many d...

Re: Will A2A be devoloping products for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Good post, Paul. I don't think you remember just how bad things were, both in the beta forum and in other forums like the one on Avsim. You can still read the Avsim archive for Microsoft Flight to get some idea of what it was like, even after the worst posts were deleted and the posters banned. Haw...

Re: Will A2A be devoloping products for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

I got all excited about Flight and bought a few DLC. Microsoft saw that it wasn't going to generate a profit and pulled the plug in a New York Second. Expecting the same thing to happen this time. Imagine what would have happened if the free part of Flight had been included in every Windows install...

Re: Will the Aerostar 600 be available for FSX?

[..] and guess what? I just completely uninstalled P3D from my computer a couple of days ago, with zero regrets, to make room for MSFS. I have preordered my Premium Deluxe version, and await it with baited breath. FSX is stone age in terms of technology compared to MSFS. You're argument is as akin ...
