Re: Add-ons folder ("must be installed in the same location")

Thanks for that Nick, you're right. It looks like it was using the one in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin

Thanks for your help.

Re: Add-ons folder ("must be installed in the same location")

I'm not sure where the path was coming from but I found I could override it if I added the path that I wanted at the top of the add-ons.cfg file, e.g.: [Package.0] PATH=N:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false But I've now got folders in the A2A folder on the path above ...

Add-ons folder ("must be installed in the same location")

Hi I'm just trying a fresh install of P3Dv4. I've had P3Dv4 previously installed on the PC and am using a different Add-ons folder now. When I try to install the T-6 Texan (just downloaded the latest installer from the A2A site) it gives a message that "you already have at least one A2A Simulations ...

Re: A2A Spitfire in X-Plane???

But (and this is all fairly baseless speculation regarding A2A's activities, however...) it seems like there are quite a few similarities between xplane's Blade Element Theory and the flight model in Microsoft's new simulator. It has also been said that A2A's accusim'd aircraft feel closer than anyt...

Re: A2A Spitfire in X-Plane???

I see A2A's homepage has an item on it from March 23rd last year: "Spitfire Training Simulator progresses with partners Airtech Simulations A2A Simulations have been working with Airtech simulations to create what will be one of if not the most realistic Spitfire training simulation on the planet fo...

Re: Your choice for 1st A2A plane in MSFS2020

So, I'd been thinking. Obviously there is an NDA agreement that end users have to agree to prior to getting access to the alpha/beta builds (this is shown to you prior to signing up on the Insider page, so is public knowledge I think). Anyway, the NDA prevents you from talking about the behaviour of...

Re: Accu-Sim Re-organization

The topic does suggest that Scott and the team have found several aircraft in their garage and are giving them a thorough spring clean. This must be especially difficult with the Cub, and it would be very impressive if a P3Dv4 version of it were released in the near future. Not a lot of companies co...

Me 2. I'm flying a freeware one in xplane 11 at the moment.

A2A's Cub always makes me smile.

Re: Frame rates

Dynamic lighting (also in the configurator) seems to hit my frame rate quite badly.
Shame as it looks pretty, maybe on the next PC though.

Re: P3D run as admin?

Having said that, the A2A Input Configurator saves to the admin users Documents folder I think. Documents\A2A\P3D\Bonanza35\axisConfig.cfg I tried assigning axes to cowl flaps and defroster earlier and it had no effect. I think I'd need to copy that folder manually to my regular user. As the rest of...

Re: First flight finished

Thanks Orlaam. Been away from ESP for a bit and new to P3D v4. If I want to adjust axis slope or null zones I'll need the paid version of fsuipc I think and I don't have that yet. I had the paid version of fsuipc v4 but I've been trying not to buy too many things at once so not got v5 yet. I could d...

Re: First flight finished

Thanks EnDSchultz. Initially I was surprised to see that A2A had given the option for a Cherokee landing gear on the Bonanza, but yes I soon saw what my issue was and I did use the landing gear during my flight. It made the walkaround a bit more (less?) interesting though. I'll try the y key next ti...

Re: Thank you beta team

Great job, thanks A2A team. The beta testing prior to release is obviously really well done, and the speed that any remaining little issues get resolved after release is also second to none.
