Re: 2d cockpit

Default keys for the 2d popup panels are Shift+1 thru Shift+8. Bear in mind, the p-40 has no full complete 2d panel; the popup panels provide some basic info, allow you access settings and use the accusim hanger, provided you have accusim.

Re: ADF Question.

I think I recall reading somewhere that you can change the frequency to a .5 in the Shift+6 menu.

Re: Click and Fix

Flying time lost is just one consequence of having to make a repair, though. The other big one is cost, and I think that adding cost to repairs would add the same realistic feel to the simulation that time lost would.

Re: Indicated Air Speed (IAS) selectable in MPH or Knots

I believe Scott mentioned that at some point down the road other engines will be available for the 172. My two cents about recommending this product to students: Some practice is better than no practice. It might be missing the carb heat lever. But I think that the benefits of the A2As are substanti...

Re: Exterior lighting

While A2A's tech support is great, I don't think they provide tech support for other developers as well.

Part 3

I was wondering if part three of the development update was still in the pipeline. I love 172, (its going to keep me busy for a long while yet) but I haven't forgotten about the f-104. :)

Re: Accu-Sim C172 Trainer

Shift 9 will bring up AFK controls as well. They are very helpful when you are on a long flight, and need to leave the sim for a bit.

Re: Strange consequence of Wing Structural Damage

When crash detection is off, is there a way to prevent FSX from catapulting your aircraft into the air when you touch water?
