Re: Elevator trim not working
Hi Nick and Dudley, My GA fleet have been "in the hangar" for a couple of months, I've been mostly flying the Spitfire and "Connie" when I've had time to fly, they're both fine! I noticed however that the T-6 Texan didn't want to trim up into level flight making me pull back on t...

Re: Elevator trim not working
Thanks Nick for the old accusim.dll
This sorted out the trimming problems in P3Dv5.1 not only with my T-6 Texan but also C172R, C182 Skylane, Comanche and Cherokee.
regards,
M. Jordan.

Re: Approach Speed
here's some great tips from Killratio: The three most important things in landing the R model are, IMHO, 1. Speed 2. Speed 3. Speed. The aircraft WILL float for an eternity unless you peg the speed. This is one thing out here that new pilots have trouble with. Our strip has an almost guaranteed cros...

Re: Approach Speed
Hi Allan,
60-65 is fine, the secret of landing the 172R without ballooning is the trimming together with the speed. I keep it closer to 60 (depending on wind and weight) and trim constantly, keep one eye on the variometer and the other on your speed.

Re: Trim wheel goes nuts
i would look if something is not interfering with the trim, when i first installed saitek stuff, i noticed that there were many unneeded assignments to axis or buttons that, when deleted, made my controls normal again. Thanks Caldemeyn, I thought I had deleted all other trimming settings but I forg...

Re: Trim wheel goes nuts
I'm using the same hardware and experiencing the same problem, I don't use the trim button. I also notice even trimming on the ground that the trim indicator jumps around while using the Saitek Pro Flight Trim Wheel, this doesn't happen when using the mouse wheel over the trim wheel in VC.

Re: FSflyingSchool Compatibility
Hi Folks! FSFlyingSchool here (Jeff Preston). We'd certainly like to look into this case and see what we can do to help pilots who want to fly their excellent A2A c172 with FSFlyingSchool PRO 2013 for FSX (and P3D). We've contacted A2A and are now working on this with their generous help. :) I will...

Re: FSflyingSchool Compatibility
What is FSFlyingschool? Hi Lewis, FSflyingschool is an addon where you fly with an instructor who will tell you if you make any mistakes and advise you during the entire flight. Afterwards your flight is rated where even side winds and use of autopilot are taken into account. so +1 for the FSflying...
