Re: Carb ice on 85F clean dry air?

Out of curiosity, what version are you running? It used to be pretty keen to ice up on earlier versions, but for me atleast, with the latest v.1.2, i don't know if i've ever had any icing i'd notice...

Re: Power / pitch coupling - too strong?

Hey all, I'm just curious if anyone else finds the pitch response to a power change a bit too strong or "direct", in the sense that the resulting pitch moment feels almost like a control input, vs a response that occurs over time and is affected by inertia as airspeed and propwash change?...

Re: Starter now broken

For the original issue, can you guys test the file linked below? Unzip and replace accusim.wasm located in "Community\a2a-aircraft-pa24\SimObjects\Airplanes\pa24-250\panel". https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/xtvaa5ntkcojj4i4abzjq/Accusim.zip?rlkey=eo152s36gqah3kvl7lqakvpfu&dl=0 The flick...

Re: Starter now broken

Hmm, it looks like there are some old, conflicting starter events in MSFS SDK, that are now aliased to magnetos. I'll prepare a fix, in the meantime it should work fine if instead of "MANGETOS RIGHT" you assign the key to "MAGNETO 1 RIGHT". It's the "magnetos right" ke...

Re: Starter now broken

How is this mags switch assigned in msfs? mags OFF on controller = Magnetos OFF on MSFS controller R switch = mags right, L= mags left, both = mags both on msfs and i tried to unbind the starter command from MSFS, but it helped nothing, as soon as the key turns on my controller the starter is pushe...

Starter now broken

After 1.2 update, when i turn key on my honeycomb alpha to R, L or Both mags, the starter engages. Also now when i put mags off after flight the engine briefly cranks for the same reason.

Re: The Comanche really does need high end control hardware...

I use HC alpha, with hefty curve, something like 50. The plane is perfectly controllable but during crosswind flare when there is gusts and all it gets a bit squirrelly but not sure is it even a controller issue. I also have a Boeing yoke in my closet, i should really give it a go with the A2A Coman...

Re: Engine torque on take off

What about the KSSshhh -sound when we land front tire misaligned on xwind as we had on legacy a2a .... atleast in my mind it was due to misaligment of the nose gear =)

Re: When can we expect more planes???

i am personally more interested in knowing WHAT the next plane is.. there's no horry because there's plenty of flying to do with the comanche...

So i hope the announcement is done when the decision is made what'll be the next plane (Cherokee 180 *cough*)

Re: CHT vs climb power

yeah i actually just found real 1959 poh from the interwebs, it is surprisingly clear on the topic, and i quote: "For maximum rate of climb, the propeller and throttle controls should be left at take-off power. For reduced power climbs, the RPM can be reduced to 2400 or 2500 RPM, with full thro...

CHT vs climb power

I see lot of different climb power settings for 250 Comanche, depending on the source. 25/2500, 25/2400, 24/2400 etc... I also see IRL people leaving full throttle, let the MP recude on its own due to altitude If my CHT stays below 400, can i realistically climb at any manifold pressure at - let's s...

Small visual feature request

A2A is probably hands full atm but down the road...

would be cool to have an option for omitting the headrests on the seats. Would make better visibility behind and sides, looking in sims is always a tad harder that it is in real life, even when using TIR ... only VR is close...

Thanks.

Re: Yaw, p-factor, rudder etc

So what is the primary function of the Rudder trim in these planes? I'm sorry i do not want to sound ungrateful, you guys have made easily easily easily the best GA plane ever for flight sim, i love it, i cannot express enough how much i love it. I'm just wondering.. is it for climb? for cruise? for...

Yaw, p-factor, rudder etc

The latest update gave me yaw at 105mph/vy climb, and I LOVE IT. i also LOVE that the ball is not glued anymore when maneuvering at cruise speeds. I'm the guy who cares about the rudder, and i hate when the rudder is neglected :)) There's only one question / wish. The final, the holy grail of yaw to...

Re: Tablett- Fahrenheit to Celsius

Too bad the hybrid system in MSFS in general gives wind in km/h rather than knots.
