Re: Sim Connect won't work
Update: Tried a default Baron, no problems. Renamed Community folder back to original without 1.1 in it (other folder in Roaming, untouched). He flew the 310R briefly with minor issues (mouse clicks not working on some things) but was able to fly. Don't know if 310R uses SimConnect or not. Need to r...

Re: Sim Connect won't work
Hi Nick,
He said he didn't do much with 1.0 because I had told him about 1.1. Scratch the reinstall of 1.0, he deleted it from his drive. I have it, but don't want my fingers smacked. Besides he is about 300 miles away.

Re: Sim Connect won't work
Hi Nick, Because of drive space restraints, had him go in and rename the original Community folder and build a new one with the correct name. Then, deleted the A2A Simulations folder form the Roaming directory and reload 1.1 from scratch. From all appearances, the reload went fine. Had him double ch...

Re: Sim Connect won't work
I see where you are going with this Nick. He is very cramped on C: drive disk space. Let me work with him on your idea and get back with you.
Thanks for the idea, I was fresh out.

Re: Sim Connect won't work
Nick, I've been working with him on this. He first loaded ver 1.0 but never went past the removal of the bungie cord, moved the yoke, etc. If it helps, he is using a group of Honeycomb throttles and yoke hardware as well. Then, downloaded 1.1 and tried to load it. From that time on, he has been gett...

Parking Brake Problem
Cannot SET the parking brake with mouse action or joystick switch assignment, only from the tablet. Release works fine, but SET, not so good. Bug or Op Error?

I'm getting to the age that these are not as funny as they were 50 years ago when I was 28.

Re: Do non-smoking flights affect your career?
Back in the day, the No Smoking light and the Seat Belt light were on all of the time the plane had power (engine or ground power) on the ground, and during take-offs and landings. In rough air, the Seat Belt sign would come on, but the smoking was still allowed. As for your career, you can do what ...

Re: A2A and FS 2020
Just let us know if you need any testers. Hard job, but I'd be willing to sacrifice a few hours of my time for it Same here. I have 180 hours on MSFS already and tired of the INOP tags and the lack of A2A quality. Have already tried the Carenado C-182 and their PA-44 Seminole and they sit in the ha...

Re: The NEW T-6!
Every time I see something about "T-6" I go check it out...then, when I see it's for *that* T-6 I know the feeling. When I was about to exit the Air Force after 8 years, they made several changes. The serial number that I had pounded into my head was going to change to my Social Security ...

Re: The NEW T-6!
Sure.....Simply get your wallet out, purchase a $10,000 (minimum) system with VR and top of the line joystick/throttle pack and pedals, then pay Scott what the USAF did, and you too can get this: https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=67987&p=516583&hilit=USAF+Trainer#p516...

Re: Why I Like Retirement!
True story: I was at the Docs yesterday. The Nurse asked me if I was getting enough sleep. I informed her that I have this red, white, and blue card in my wallet (Medicare) that states that I am old and can take a nap anytime that I want to. She was the one that had to stay awake and work. No more q...
