Suggestion for Map
Hi Can I make a quick suggestion regarding the map gauge? How about having a version where the rose and heading indicators are shown a quarter of the current size in the top left, and then opening the map so that it's centre is randomly offset from the plane's location? That way there would be nothi...

Re: Hard to fly
I have just remembered I might have an old CH Yoke in the attic. I might give that a try.

Re: Hard to fly
The trim is VERY sensitive(perhaps a little to sensitive for a large heavy aircraft). Also try with full landing flaps, not approach flaps. You have to man handle the aircraft, and put it where you want it. It’s a 1950s aircraft, don’t forget. I did man-handle it! I got it down alright, nice touch ...

Re: Selecting Engines in VR
OK, thanks guys, I guess I'm going to have to do something like that, although keyboard interaction is one thing I want to keep to a minimum in VR, especially on finals.

Re: Hard to fly
Approach speed was hovering around 110 and 120 with flaps one notch off full and tanks about a third full.
The controller is just a simple joystick, a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I haven't done anything with it. I spent all my money the rig and the vr headset. Perhaps you can recommended something?

Hard to fly
Hi
Does anyone think that the Connie is hard to fly? I found it really difficult to trim on approach, and the slightest yoke movement would send her climbing or descending. Any tips?

Re: Selecting Engines in VR
Thanks for the reply. I've tried to avoid doing that, one of the reasons being that all my keys are already doing stuff. The keys 1 to 5 are used for ATC communication.

Selecting Engines in VR
This aircraft is great in VR. I was able to do everything, with just a bit of peaking out of the headset now and then. Everything except select engines that is. The 3D pointer/sphere thingy seems to work on everything for me except that panel. Which is a bugger because you cant select engines with t...

Re: P3DV4 B377??
Hi It's been ages since I posted here. I just wanted to add a post to let you guys know that I'm also hoping to see this great aircraft fly once again. I think it is the most interesting aircraft A2A ever did, and I've really tried to keep it going since I moved from FSX to P3D. It appeared to be fu...

Re: Academic and Professionnal bundles what difference ?
If you're not a professional/training institution of some sort just buy the academic version. What made me wonder is that the developer licences from P3D are for the professional versions of the simulator, so I just want to make sure I don't buy something that's not going to work, or that will give...

Re: Prepar3d V3 Release date Wednesday 30th September
Have these installers been released yet? I logged into my account and re-downloaded my previous purchases - when I checked the dates on the exe files in each compressed folder, they were four years old, and no readme files or anything. So I didn't install them. Where can I find these new installers...

Righty wheel stuck
Hi Just ported over the B-17 to P3D v3 and I've not had any problemos yet but on the last flight the right wheel didn't want to come up. Earlier, when I started the scenario, the aircraft kind of dropped on to the runway (like they do) and burst a tire, so it was off to the hanger immediately to rep...
