Re: A2A's new B29 for P3D4.2
We have been close a few times but nothing came of it, same with the B-25 btw. That's actually awesome info, we normally don't get so much. A B-29 "seems" easy because of all the 377 work done, and two 29's airworthy. And the B-25 has many examples airworthy. The variables we are not awar...

Re: The secret airplane in development
So an early jet (good starting point for the A2A jet engine Accusim platform), a warbird, and an aircraft where there are existing 2 seat examples that could possibly be used for A2A testing...
Yup an Me262 actually could be on the horizon...

Small plane crash in CT
I'm posting this because it has incredible video, and because there were no fatalities. Also, I believe this was at A2A's home base. I won't speculate on the cause, but I will say that is the most fortunately placed tree ever, it is the only reason this was not a tragedy IMO... That surveillance vid...

Nice Cliff! Gonna watch now I think, before I head to sleep. Just an FYI, if you didn't know- you can link your video using a full screenshot, instead of just a text link... just use around the link, and remember to change https to just http- like this: http://www.youtub...

Re: Got To Fly Right Seat In A Ford Trimotor Today
Ohhhh that is a nice flight! Very jealous! I've flown in a small handful of vintage aircraft and warbirds, and it only increases the desire to do it more... the one I regret most not doing was a flight in a Vietnam era Huey, which would've been just $80... still kicking myself about that. I agree wi...

Re: Repaint Requests
Actually, TJ- your request inspired this one... how about a TOPAC livery? This was the fictional airline used in The High and the Mighty... While it was a C-54 in the film, it might look splendid adapted on the Connie. Year would be 1954, so fits pretty well! https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lb5vYGsLuyI/U...

Re: Repaint Requests
Here is a funny request if anyone is up for it. Does anyone want to 'interpret' Trans American...from Airplane! to the Connie? http://ancoracrafts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/airplane.jpg Now you can have the COTS crew interactions, plus the occasional voice of the late Leslie Nielsen with his w...

Re: Jailed!
I attempted a flight from Tokyo to Honolulu just recently, and got a sick passenger and diverted to Midway as the closest airfield. Of course by the time I landed it was "too long". I then got another sick passenger from Midway to Honolulu, but since Honolulu was the closest, I continued ...

Re: Repaint Requests
I was wondering if any of our talented painters was up to doing a classic BOAC paint- different of course to the one supplied in the sim... I saw 2 that are quite pretty and very shiny too! https://airscapemag.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/g-ahek-berwick-ii.jpg http://www.aussieairliners.org/l-1049/g-...

Re: I get a lower fuel pressure on engine N°2
In my Connie, as of now, all my engines are running great and the same. But in my B-17 my #1 engine has ALWAYS been a pain... gotta just love Accusim- through our own use and flying styles, combined with wear and random events, every single one of us is flying a totally unique aircraft. That is trul...

Re: In-flight music
Lewis, you just highlighted the biggest issue I (personally) have with COTS... My flying time is generally short and after a long work day, so I usually want to watch some tv as well. So I fly casually one of the warbirds or GA offerings, but my propliners usually get sidetracked cause it is hard to...

In-flight music
I know, I know, we should be paying attention to our flight crews to make sure all is well on board our Connies and Stratocruisers... But I love to have music on while I fly, I'm sure some of you guys do as well. What do you guys listen to while flying these old airliners specifically? I find this M...

Re: Military V. Civilian
Hi Andrew- Simply stated, which you get depends on how you want to fly... and many of us have both (if you get both, you only have to buy Accusim once- it fits both products). The military P-51 is equipped as it was during WWII. It is heavier, has no modern avionics and can be fitted with external f...
