Re: Input Config only saves to FSX Folder

After returning to Flight Sim (dropping FSX for the improved P3D) I find it extremely disappointing that A2A are not even willing to address such a fundamental flaw as the Throttle not being recognised when it is recognised in Windows and all other sims I have. It is not even covered in the Input Co...

Re: 44-63216 78th FG *FINISHED*

............I've not been able to find anything on the web, other than 3 color shots of the right side of the aircraft. I'll be guessing on the nose art, and will do it in a similar style to "Big Beautiful Doll" If anyone has more info, or pictures, I'd love to see it. ......................

Re: Merlin III negative cutout question

Hi Daryl, many thanks for the explanation. It not really important (to me) in the A2A Spit but if/when you talk to your guys I'd be interested to know what -ve G figure they have set for cutout - if thats how they've done it. I did 'borrow' the 2D' open' cockpit from WOP2 spitfire and added an accel...

Re: Merlin III negative cutout question

Thanks for the replies guys. It isn't a really big concern for me as I fly the Accusim Spitfires just for the pleasure of flying them, combat-type maneouvres aren't relevant, it was more out of curiosity. The Accusim Spits are in many ways looked on as a kind of benchmark by some people and there ar...

Merlin III negative cutout question

Hi A2A Are you able to tell me what parameters you used for the Merlin III negative cutout, e.g. the actual negative or reduced positive G value, onset delay, recovery delay etc? Can you also tell me what your sources were and if Dudley or anyone else has commented on whether it is realistic as curr...

Re: A2A Warbirds In Development (09/12/2011)

Brilliant!

I've been waiting for the Mustang and now there's also to be the SpitMkV and Warhawk.

As one of my friends said, "Now this is how to produce aircraft for a flight sim"

Re: engine wear damage patch +mkV ?

Scott

does this mean the P51D WOP2 "Solo" will have an optional Accusim package or will it be re-issued as a WOP3 version (with separate Accusim pack)?

Re: MP Online for Accusim Spitfire

I don't know if I have a problem or am just being thick. I have collected the various Spitfire skins (like the Danish Spitfire) and moved the texture folders ok and edited the WOP3 Spitfire aircraft.cfg to add the [fltsim.xx] entries, giving each one a sequential number following the existing entrie...

Re: Is it possible to drain battery dead/brake starter apart

I think A2A should probably lock access to their aircraft until the Manual has been read :D

Oh, wait a minute, I haven't read ALL of it
EDIT: Oh, yes I have :)

Re: WOP3 Spitfire - [Elevator & Rudder trim rotaries dont wo

I scanned through the FSUIPC user guide and it looks like a huge job of work to learn it and set it up. Before I try that, can someone tell me: 1. Does FSUIPC bypass the WOP3 axes configuration and the normal FSX controls settings and go straight to the heart of FSX? 2. Can it be used partially, e.g...

Has anyone seen this? http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=15606&highlight=change+axis EDIT 14:50Z: Supposedly it seems you can change what the Saitek axes 'report' as. So it should be possible to change U axis to report as Ry and vice versa by swapping over the registry values (the post ...

Re: a few questions newbee

1. Do you have a steering wheel or a Joystick and is it force-feedback? If so perhaps you can adjust the feedback. When is it heavy? On the ground or in the air? In the air it will get heavier with increased speed. 2. If you have rudder toebrakes or even a joystick rotary then that will allow you to...

Re: Flying surfaces animation travel - stops to early

I'm curious on this one.

Haven't you simply reduced the controls surface effect to the under-modelled visual travel of the control surfaces? In other words, are you now not getting the full real effect of the controls and have limited them simply to match the visual effect?
