I saw something similar to this on dogfights. One F-86 was incapacitated and the other had to push his comrade.

Great aircraft history site

Hey Guys,
I found a great aircraft website by googling around. It must have hundreds of aircraft and anything aeronautical and aerospace related. Its got everything from the A380 to a Zeppelin. Lots of pictures too. :wink:

What I don't like is there was no warning to the shutdown. They could have sent mass e-mail to gamespy subscribers alerting the public of shutdown.

When you guys say that the engines were destroyed so that he could collect the insurance, I only see that fire was through the fuselage and not the wings, which would not destroy the engines and make them salvageable. But maybe after the cameras were turned off the fire engulfed the whole plane.

I was taking the 757 for a flight and just when i approached the California coast I decided to take a look at the air traffic.
