Re: Propellors

I have just installed DL-SWSP3AC Wings of Power 3 Spitfire in Microsoft FX. Installation OK but on first takeoff on Mk I I over corrected on pitch and smashed the prop. When I reload FX even after exiting the programme the aircraft still has the broken prop. As a new boy but a real pilot with 5000 ...

next WoS project + FS2Crew => AWESOME

I was just thinking, did you guys ever consider talking to the FS2Crew developers about cooperating on a project? For planes like the B17 and B377 it would have been nice, talking to the crew to get them to do things for you. Maybe you could make this possible with the next WoS propliner. It's not t...

Re: Shift +6 popup, frequency selection + Squawkbox

I think with the B17 there sometimes is a problem with ILS frequencies not being set correctly, I think this is the same issue

Shift +6 popup, frequency selection + Squawkbox

Hey guys, I have the following problem: the frequency I set on the Shift+6 popup will not be recognized properly by the Squawkbox frequency selection. On the screenshot you can see that although 118.80 is selected, Squawkbox says it's 118.79. I have to use the frequency-lever, then the frequencies w...

Re: Which Classic aircraft should A2A make?

The Boeing 247 was the first true modern airliner. It took design ques and lessons from the Boeing 221 Monomail who's only fault was not having a constant-speed propellor. The Boeing 247 inspired the Douglas DC-1 and following DC-2 and DC-3. Although not as popular, it lead the way for the future o...

Re: Turbo-props, jets?

Why not think way outside the box and make an accusim helicopter? I'm an airplane-guy myself, but that would be a cool twist to a2as list of aviation products Daniel As much as I'd love to try flying with a heli, I think FSX is just not the platform for that. Take the work an AccuSim package...

Re: Turbo-props, jets?

@badaboom/CALJet: I agree. I purchased the Turbine Duke the minute I knew it had been released. Great aircraft, so TurboProps definitely can work, even in FSX. I really like the idea of the P3. Great plane, very versatile and as you said, might be a good base for some other models, where mostly the ...

Re: Which Classic aircraft should A2A make?

I would love an Accusim version of the Lockheed L-188 Electra/P3 Orion. It was a beautiful little prop liner and freighter and was the basis for the various P3 orion variants. Although the Orion has some major structural differences, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to do the both the Electra a...

Re: Turbo-props, jets?

If A2A starts looking at turboprops, I'd like to see something like an AN-12. http://www.operationbrokensilence.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Photo1_AN12_ST-ASA_midjul07_EGN.jpg The B-36 was mentioned as well, and it would certainly be interesting to fly something that HUGE. http://www.fas.org/nuk...

Re: Turbo-props, jets?

Guys, calm down...! I agree that a modern jet is... not something A2A should do, but the OP never wanted that (as far as I know) Jet does not mean 737... I think that what A2A seemed to plan a while ago (F4, F104) should get a higher priority, instead of one piston-fighter after another. Nobody's as...

Re: Turbo-props, jets?

Spartan Executive! This is actually the kind of Aircraft I didn't mean. Again, a beautiful aircraft but how different really would it be to manage that engine compared to what already exists in A2A products? hence the post title "Turbo-props, jets". Jason, I've got to say: it's a joy fina...
