Re: Pulling out
As I recall, the guy knew everything about everything and started with complaints about how he couldn't fly the Mustang and offered to help A2A rewrite the aircraft config to be more realistic. Then with help from someone here, he discovered that he was trying to taxi and take off with the control ...

Re: New P3D drive
Plus, if your C: drive will remain untouched, you will keep the persistent data for each of your aircraft. So for time it takes to reinstall A2A aircraft, it’s probably worth the extra effort.

Re: Comanche v5 + GTN
Nick, I think he is using the GTN config program, not the Aircraft configurator in the start menu. You DO have to use the start menu option right? I didn’t think the GTN program put it in the virtual cockpit, just a window like <shift 6>? That’s how it’s always worked in the past anyway.

Re: Assistance with setting up Saitek accessories
Hi, your TrackIR should “link” automatically to both FSX and P3D. Just make sure it’s running and minimised (one led should be showing). When you start the sim, the other led should light up. I don’t have to do anything special to get it to connect. The TPM Panel, you should be able to set up throug...

Re: Hanger anomaly
Just for reference, this also happened in P3Dv5 pre-v5 update. I haven’t checked it since update, because SCOTT made me buy another Airplane with his videos. So I’ve been flying the new Comanche. If any of you guys catch me watching any more Scott Gentile videos, please slap me round the head  ...

Re: Please help me decide........
I USED to own both the C172 and the C182 in my FSX days. Along with others like Spitfire, P51, P47, etc, you get the picture  I gave it all up 5-6 years ago I guess. I’ve just got back into it, but this time it’s P3Dv5. I, like you, had to make a choice from what was available for P3D. Not all...

Re: Flight1 GNS 600/500 VC panel integration
I’m gonna take a guess here and say, it would completely ruin all the development of the realism this plane is equipped with. I’m pretty sure the steam gauges are integral to the feedback you get when flying this, and other A2A planes. For instance, in the Bonanza, my whole steam gauge panel moves a...

Re: [Updated 6 May: first batch of P3Dv5 installers ready] Prepar3D v5 and A2A Simulations
Not the same here, just did a 4 ½ hour flight in Germany, terrible weather, lots of rain, and not a single problem. Seems to work fine for me now. Out of interest are you using hotfix1 or RTM? Bryan. I am using HF1. A complete uninstall, format drive, and install from scratch. I also uninstalled th...

Re: Panels.dll crash with P3D V5
No problems here either. Just flew for 4 ½ hours in Germany, in appalling weather, overcast from about 3000 to 7000, raining like we needed it, and looking awesome. That’s the first day of flying without a crash in P3Dv5 since I bought it. This plane is my go to plane from now on. So well done on th...

Re: V5 Installation Question
You’ll be glad to hear that this update caused ZERO problems for me, I’ve even seen the rain on the windshield for the first time. Just completed a 4½ hour flight in Germany, (where the weather was really bad), and really enjoyed it. No problems, no crashes, just flying. The first day without a cras...

I’m flying mine with a STICK, so yeah, very “squirrelly” for me. Until I buy a new Yoke, I’ll just have to “wing it”.

Re: Oil and Plugs
I’m glad you got it sorted. I really like the Bonanza, didn’t think I would though. An old buddy used to fly the Carenado one, and I HATED it. But this A2A Bonanza is incredible. Don’t tell Scott, but I only bought it after watching his video. It was. . . . . shall we say, “very impressive”. Don’t t...
