Out of interest, what is the procedure for refuelling partial loads on the Comanche? I understand the safety issues and procedures concerning general aviation fuel tanks e.g. fuel quantity gauge accuracy, using one tank as opposed to both in the Comanche, adding in a safety margin etc. Thus, how do ...

My guess is carburettor icing on the ground.
For unknown reasons one magneto may drop more than 150rpm, whilst the other is in range.
