Continuation of Propliners
With the development of MSFS and P3D, has A2A discussed ideas about future continuation of old airline products or is this line of products dead? Example would be the Convair 340/440 seeing how it served the medium range fleet and how they are still operated today. Reason I ask is due to the current...

Scott,
In your post there was the section "new J-3 Cub and B-17 Flying Fortress". What is considered "new"?
Congrats Jake!

Re: Oil Change in P3DV4 with newest update
Could be that I need to reinstall the Bo. I was watching a lot of people have issues on the first install and their issues were usually fixed on a second install. Maybe this is my answer.

Re: Oil Change in P3DV4 with newest update
I haven't flown the Bonanza since this discussion as I still couldn't figure out why the oil color did not change. At 25 hours I would think the oil would be a dark color (black at least) but I remember before I changed it the color was still gold. After I changed oil/filter the color was dark brown...

Re: pause on emergency
I use the emergency page sometimes but never had an issue such as this. Have you checked the maintenance status of your Bonanza?

Re: The Bonanza's wandering nose
Try a higher rotation speed on take off. At 80 knots it has a drastic left yaw but at 90 knots or above it is less. In flight the left to right yaw is part of the V-Tail characteristic. It just wanders haha. I don't mind it much when I am up front flying but in the back seat that is a whole differen...

Oil Change in P3DV4 with newest update
I have hit 24 hours and I have done an oil change. Before the oil change the color of oil on the dipstick was a darker gold. Upon performing the oil change which I have tried several different ways such as emptying the oil in the payload tab and selecting "Change" in the maintenance hangar...

I personally don't prime until after I start turning blades as it is easy to OVER prime the Merlin.

Re: It was a seemingly uneventful flight, until....
I would like to know this as well, is this just random or do real overvolts occur here? I read some other topic where the system might not even been in use and popped a cb. I think there is going to be a patch for the breakers popping on us all. Breakers rarely pop and its happening more than they ...

Re: Did my gear lights burn out already?
Is your aircraft in a 'Used' state or is it brand new with no hours on the airframe? Also is your system P3D or FSX?

Re: Starting tricks?
As the manual says, full open of the throttle and mixture. Then turn on the fuel pump and watch that needle!!! As soon as the needle is about to hit the start of the green arc turn the fuel pump OFF. This is a very quick process and over priming is really easy as you are experiencing.
