Dudley - based on your earlier recommendation I got my wife to order them for my birthday at the end of this month to replace my old Logitech which I can't stand. The sad part is they just came in and will have to stare at the box for a couple of weeks.... Look forward to giving them a try!

Hi all - dumb question alert: just purchased the civilian version (along with the Cub) and was surprised to see it was only a 100mb download. As a comparison I believe the Cub was 150mb... My question - did I need to purchase the mil version first and the civ is an expansion to it? Concerned accusim...

I've noticed since I've "fixed" the problem that all is well with any aircraft including the PMDG 737 NGX as long as it's daytime. The minute the sky starts to darken I start getting the crash again. So my solution - don't fly at night!

Thanks Alan for the recommendation. I finally fixed the issue by de-activating enhanced atmospherics and volumetric fog from P3D and that seemed to have taken care of the issue in daytime, but when I would load a flight at night error came back. Got a recommendation from an Avsim user to revert back...

Thanks for your input Oracle and Dudley! Being a “simmer”, found the video super interesting and was curious in hearing how real world pilots in this forum train for such events. I will be practicing this on the Bonanza!
