Thanks I'll try that and btw I've got windows 10 on order, should be here thursday!!!
Edit: Well, it isn't my antivirus and as for updating windows 7 I don't think that can be done anymore, can it, but since I'm updating to windows 10, kinda pointless!
Thanks
Mark

A2A input configurator incompatible
Hi, I recently upgraded to P3D V4.5 after 3 years away from the sim. The first thing I did was to go to the A2A store and purchase the Cherokee. I'm having a lot of trouble setting up my controls and when I go to the start menu in windows 7 and try to start the input config program I get the message...

Re: Serrated shadows
Nick, I'm still on 3.4 which may be the problem. I found the correct entry point on the web and I'm trying it now.

Re: Serrated shadows
Hu Guys, I need a little more information, I searched my p3d.cfg with the find feature and can't even find this entry in mine. What version of P3D is this in and if it doesn't matter where should it be placed to try it?

Re: Earphone Jack
I mentioned this several months ago and hopefully it is being worked on but I haven't heard anything specific. I may try to use the Lvar from the Cherokee that I have programed to my joystick and see what happens. I'll let you know.
Didn't work.

Re: Frame rates drop when in 3D cockpit
Hi, sorry to resurrect an old thread but I have had the same issue and after some investigation I discovered that the problem, at least with my install was the strobe lights. I had always gotten mediocore frames and a significant stutter when flying the Comanche, I got better performance from every ...

What would it take?
Hi, I own both the Cherokee and the Connie. One of the things I really like about the Connie is the navigator's notes on the map screen. I like the elapsed time and distance traveled readouts. I thought it would be handy to have that feature in the Cherokee so I made backups of the files mapsettings...

I bought this plane when I shouldn't have!
Hi, I just bought the 172 for P3D wanting the V4 upgrade and I didn't realize that I already owned it and would have been eligible for the free upgrade. Is there any way I can get a refund.
Thanks Mark

engine runup
Hi, I have a question about the engine and accessories ground test section of the manual. It says on page 125, line number 2 of the table that the suction gauge should read 4 inches of vacuum. Does that mean that 4 inches is a minimum or should it read 4 inches exactly. I read here on the forums som...

What is this Lvar for?
Hey,what is L:ApElevatorRemoteControl for? Is that a Boolean control or variable? The AP remote is just referring to the knob on the panel instead of the large white trim wheel isn't it? Also the Lvar L:ApElevatorSpeed is for the elevator servo speed but is that modeled? I have played with that cont...

Re: Auto Pilot After the Update
This may be a radical idea, but if you're going to have your hands full anyway, how about: Disengage the autopilot HAND fly the turn Reengage the AP on the new heading. Actually, you don't even have to disengage the aileron or rudder just the elevator, I disengage the elevator, make the turn and th...
