3D Apollo 11 CM

When I saw this 3D simulation of the inside of the Apollo 11 command module I had to share it with someone and I thought that the guys at A2A would appreciate this. I'm sure that many of you have seen this already since it was made in 2016. Check it out of you missed it. https://3d.si.edu/apollo11cm

Re: A2A at Airventure

I stopped by the A2A tent today and took the T-6 out for a flight around the pattern. Great fun. Jake is an impressive young man and I enjoyed chatting with Lewis. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/airman102/A2A%202_zpsjrwsbjqb.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/airman102/A2A%201_zps2ky...

A2A at Airventure with Pictures

Stopped by the A2A tent yesterday. Scott was holding down the fort alone. All the sims were in use. A2A is having another successful Airventure. I will try to stop by later in the week.

Re: Tips for Chicago...

Hello Vincent. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and I have been down town on the 4th of July. I'm sorry to say that you are not going to enjoy your visit as much as you would like due to the HUGE number of people flooding the city on the holiday. The roads will be jam packed and all the attractions ...

I can second this, Windows 10 has caused no issues for me. Have you run the updater in the sticky at the top of the forums? Also are you running the right simconnect?

That's your solution. Install simconnect and run the updater.

Re: Be aware before you upgrade to windows 10

The problem I am having is with the upgrade process. I get about 75% into the upgrade and up pops 0X80070004-0X3000D THE INSTALLATION FAILED IN THE FIRST_BOOT PHASE WITH AN ERROR DURING MIGRATE_DATE OPERATION. The computer reboots and none of my USB ports worked which means I had no use of my mouse....

I read this article and I thought it was pretty good. Though I don't post much lately, I still come here every day to catch A2A updates and peruse all the amusing/interesting/ridiculous things that people post. Thanks for taking care of us, Scott.

Ian said it best. I hope for good fortune for all at A2A.

Direct X 12 and FSX

Would someone please explain to me about how direct X works with FSX. I'm using direct X 10 with the required fixes and it looks great, but I read that when direct X 12 comes out, the gaming community can expect a 20% performance boost. I'm assuming that since FSX is old, it will not be able to use ...
