Re: [Updated 14 April 2020 with info for current P3Dv4 users] P3Dv5 and A2A Simulations

I did the 'copy A2A add-on' folder from v4 to v5. On first startup of pp3D v5, all worked fine, (flew some a2a airplanes). After shutting down the sim; On the next session, I run pp3d. V5, there is no A2A airplane in the 'Vehicle selection', window. When I go to the V5 add-on folder, the a2a folder ...

Re: Fuel Flow

Thanks for getting back to me, Scott. The problem persists, but it's limited to just the 182 now after a brief appearance in the Bonanza. I've tried starting a flight with the 182 in numerous ways, including starting a flight with the FSX:SE Ultralight and then loading the 182. After each attempt, ...

Thanks for responding to my queries. Thanks for raising the bar a little higher.

Re: Clarifications

I have all the a2a Ga fleet for pp3d v4. I have now added the Bonanza. I have observed that the rudder effectiveness seem overly sensitive in the takeoff run. Is this normal. It feels like the P51. Is it normal to have to keep at least 1200rpm to keep the airplane taxing even when I am solo? Where ...

Odd behavior Of fuel level

I noticed this since updating to PP3d 4.3 . Say I landed and closed down the sim with 15 gals in the right tank and 12 gals in the left. At my next flight, at situation load, every thing including fuel levels are as I left the previous session. Now I do my pre flight. Then I go through my pre start ...

Re: Sound setting in PP3d 4.2

TymK wrote:Hi Robin,

The volume of AI aircraft engines is controlled by the "Engines" slider on the "Sound" tab. With recent AccuSim aircraft, you can safely reduce it as the A2A engine sounds are played independently through OpenAL.

Thank you.

Sound setting in PP3d 4.2

Hi everyone, I have had an annoying problem since moving to pp3d. I use a USB headset for all sounds from my computer. In fact, I do not have any external speakers connected. I also fly A2A aircraft exclusively. I have found that the AI sounds are so loud that they drown out the engine sound of the ...

landing switch position not saved

I have uninstalled FSX and now use PP3d 4.1. I fly A2A products exclusively. I have observed that the Comanche gear switch position is not being saved. I may be wrong but I don't remember this being like that in FSX. It's not a big deal but I would like to fix it if possible. Here is the situation: ...

Do you have "dynamic lighting" ticked on the lighting settings page of P3D? If not, I believe this'll explain what you're seeing.

Thanks,
Nick
Thank you Nick. Somehow "dynamic lighting", became disabled in PP3d.
I re-enabled and all is well now.
