Think of it as asking your mechanic to bend the trim tab a little while it's in the hanger.

.....I tried to dull the OD paint a little but giving her a weathered look,... Yup thats the first thing I noticed as the aircraft was spinning in preview window. That the OD part looked so good. Its a mottled effect, though very very very subtle and really is quite nice as the in game lighting run...
