Re: P3D???

My opinion. If you want to fly A2A now, you have to have P3D. A2A have nothing ready for MFS. According to last reports they may or may not port their older stuff to MFS. For graphics I use ORBX, so it's not standard and looks very good IMO. I do have MFS but currently it has nothing that makes me w...

They are still on top with DuckDuck. You need a better class of search engine.

Re: every day it hurts more and more to launch msfs2020 and not find an opportunity to get on the mustang

Hey Drizzle. It's not just you and your 980Ti that can't cope. My 2080TI with 11GB of RAM only lasted a few minutes too. It's the new OOM for a new generation. You have to turn your sliders down and almost cripple the sim to run v5. Evidently memory management in v5 is FUBAR. Maybe they will sort it...

Re: B-17?

I just hope they (A2A) release something interesting for MFS. There is nothing in it to attract me at present. I'll post no more here. I'll wait and see what happens. The ball is entirely in their court AFAIC

Re: Ethical Question

With a few exceptions all my work is up for grabs. Do as you like with them is my feeling. If any of it helps you in any way, so much the better. Those 'few exceptions' I mentioned are entirely under the control of whomever I supplied them to.

While I fear you may be right I still have hope. History may be out of fashion for some but I will never forget.

Re: Repaint Request: NHS Spitfire

It was wonderful. When I was a lad, my brother went in to have his tonsils removed. There was no need but they took me in as well. To keep him company by all accounts. In contrast, there was a 2 week wait getting to a doctors appointment, before this Covid episode. Which is why most people don't bot...

Re: Repaint Request: NHS Spitfire

I'm with Ron on this. The NHS is 'not fit for purpose'. Mum broke her right hip at home last year and had to wait 3 hours for an ambulance. I was 20 minutes on the phone playing 100 questions before they decided that perhaps they should send an ambulance after all.

Re: Has anyone done a pre-purchase on the new Microsoft FS 2020?

Currently downloading 95GB @ 2MB/sec. Oof! Did you mean 2 Mbps, or MB? That's gonna take a while if the former. From Microsoft, I had anywhere from 25-115 Mbps depending on the individual file sizes being downloaded at the time. The initial smaller bits seemed to go slower. Still took 3-3.5 ...

Re: Has anyone done a pre-purchase on the new Microsoft FS 2020?

So much for pre-ordering. Amazon failed to deliver. No surprises there. Delivery was re-scheduled for sometime in September/October. I was offered a cancellation and noticed it was available from elsewhere for £30 extra. Yeah right! Anyway. I cancelled and bought it from Steam. £10 cheaper. Currentl...

Re: FS2020 A2A Aircraft

There will be no ports at all, as stated many times. If they do decide to bring in old planes, it will be a brand new product as the development tools will be completely different from past versions. All new is fine, but I'm not really interested in anything GA. Just as most are not interested in t...
