Does V4 still work for you?
Yes. v4.5 is and always has been fine.

Re: DXGI_ERROR_HUNG

Just an update to say that I had a refund. If LM ever change anything for the better I will look again. Failing that, I will keep an eye out for some version of the A2A Spitfire in the new Microsoft sim. Or an Avro Lancaster. Either one would clinch the deal.

Re: Will the Aerostar 600 be available for FSX?

So far I've followed the A2A Spitfire from one sim to another. If it appears in the new one, in some form or other, I will follow again. But not until then.

Re: Proud Dad

My favourite was port and lemon when I was 10 or 11. Me and mum used to go for spins with granddad in his motorbike and side-car. Sitting outside, a bobby gave him a row once for feeding alcohol to a minor.

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought Scott was talking about their existing Accusim aircraft. Since there are only four aircraft in that FirePower list that still fly, not sure how that can work. I think Scott was explaining the decision making process in past projects. If I understand it correctly...

or better, save without mipmaps
Yes. In the bad old days FSX would re-set this to 1024 on a regular basis. Saving without mipmaps was almost essential. I believe it improved later in the Steam version. I don't think this was a problem in P3D, although, I never had v1 but started with v2.

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

I'll finish my participation in this thread by asking some questions.

Who is going to buy the new sim and why? Which sim is used as an aid in real world training?

I don't expect an answer but I think the answers to these questions will determine what developers will produce and for which sim.

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

It's not a bad thing in that we can take a fresh look at the world and decide the airplanes we want to make. Sure it's not a bad thing, and I'm really happy for you guys. I just hope that maybe in future you might also decide the airplanes that WE want you to make. "We" as the early customers. Thos...

Re: Moving aircraft condition files

My folders with the .dat files are in My Documents\A2A\FSX

Why I ask, are they in the FSX folder? All my P3D aircraft are in there. I don't even have FSX installed any more.

There is a P3D folder with a P40 and Spitfire folder, but they only contain an axisConfig.cfg file.

Re: Diffused edges with Adobe Illustrator

Okay, I see you use P3D so..

If you save with mipmaps make sure Texture Resolution is set to 4096 (Ultra) in Display options.

Apart from that I don't know as I use Photoshop.

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

Sorry for the dumb question, but I would need a small clarification just to be sure: does that mean you'll never produce any of the previous planes you made in the past like the P47, Mustang or Spitfire ? If so, then that's probably one of the saddest and disappointing news we've ever had regarding...

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

great news? depends on the point of view. great scenery but No Cub to explore it, the great AT-6 or Bonanza will remain in the (in comparison) ugly P3D.. Rather really sad news. Well, not everything's gold about MSFS. Yes, it's all a matter of perspective. No matter how 'pretty' or technical the ne...

Re: Windows Update 2004 -- Any Concerns???

Just curious if build 204 is Still putting the hex on P3D v4.5 Users and Flight1 GTN? I was notified that it is available for downloading and installing. Also, what Nvidia driver are most users on now? Thanks for any information provided. I am on v4.5 but still no sign of the 2004 update. My Nvidia...
