Re: Comanche Input Configurator and P3d V5 Problem
Just an update, I got this working eventually. The issue is that your configurator is writing the completely wrong joystick numbers to the config file. I spent the last couple of hours testing each device and working out which was which. Your App lists one of my devices as joystick 5 and this number...

Re: Comanche Input Configurator and P3d V5 Problem
This still doesn't work even with proper v5 installers, to be honest its always been an issue since as far back as I can remember when I bought the 250 years ago, so that for me would be P3d 2, 4 and 5. I've tried RAW mode and DirectInput mode, it always writes the wrong joystick device number. The ...

Re: what is the copy protection key and fingerprint
It's an anti piracy protection system, it signs all the files with a unique identifier that will allow A2A to see who purchased the copy of the product that was disseminated to other pirates. They can then ban that particular copy of the product from activating in future.

Re: P3D V2.3 180 and 172 Problems
The 180 is working fine for me in 2.3, but I only installed the 180 installer, I did NOT run the latest Accusim update because I do not like what they have done to the throttle response in the 180, even though A2A say they have not touched the 180 yet. In my experience that is simply not true as the...

Re: What Does This Mean Exactly?
I think this is referring to an AXIS assigned to elevator trim in the config program rather than with a button. It's pointless in my opinion as it's still out of trim when it's re-anabled, as soon as you move the trim wheel the trim tab or elevator jump to where ever it's set by the trim wheel, at l...

Re: A2A (Accu-Sim) Update 07/15/2014 - DOWNLOAD
No you have to run it again, it's not an automatic updater at all, why on earth they call it that I have no idea. It's a small web installer that automatically downloads only the updates you need. It literally saves them download bandwidth and that's it.

Re: auto pilot ready light
It has never shown any colour other than blue for me in FSX or P3D2, then again I never read the auto pilot manual so I wouldn't know if its right or wrong. One thing I know for sure is my RDY light is always blue. Are you REALLY REALLY sure?? :D :D According to the manual the Ready Light is GREEN ...

Re: auto pilot ready light
By pressing the buttons on the YOKE indicated in the manual. I personally use a button on a hardware panel as I have a load of VRinsight panels including the MCP2, so I use a button on that toggle the various modes.

Re: P3DV2.2 Frame Rates drop when throttle moved to idle
It only happens in P3D for me though and you can't force ridiculous AA levels in P3D2 like you can in FSX, so I'm more inclined to think it is P3D that has the problem.

Re: P3DV2.2 Frame Rates drop when throttle moved to idle
Looking at the system in his signature it shouldn't struggle at all with effects at maximum, effects were never a problem in FSX even 6 years ago on ancient hardware. This is likely a driver problem with too high an AA level or a bug in P3D2.x, which to be honest I think is very much more likely as ...

Re: 7.15.14 update is amazing
Supposedly the Piper hasn't been touched in this update yet the throttle response is much more twitchy in the first 3rd of travel and much less sensitive from there onwards in the Cherokee now too.

Re: A2A (Accu-Sim) Update 07/15/2014 - DOWNLOAD
The installer isn't so clever though, the wyUpdate window appeared hidden behind all other windows and I thought the installer was hung, when in fact it was waiting from me to press a button to continue.

Re: FSX CTD: A2A_Accusim.DLL
Try deleting the default flight by removing the line that begins with Situation= in the fsx.cfg, sometimes changes to AFCADS or Scenery can cause FSX to crash at load if the default flight was saved with a different/changed airfield or scenery file, deleting the default flight save usually fixes the...

Re: Update on Update?
As far as I understand it that is how the real aircraft is, depending on CG. i.e. you run out of trim and elevator if you go too slow.
