Re: Windows 10 success
Cherkassov54 - hi there, I just wanted to let you know I have had the EXACT same error. When my system has crashed upon Alt-X, that distorted photo you posted is exactly what I see as well. I am still optimistic about finding a solution here, truly I am. As of today - I have no further updates mysel...

Re: Windows 10 success
Very good, I have put together a sample of my recent crashlog below. I have taken samples of the crashlog for when I've run tests in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode; Win7 compatibility mode, and Windows 10 mode (no compatibility settings). To my eyes, they appear very similar to one another. Have a loo...

Re: Windows 10 success
Thanks Shadowshooter, A good idea - I had not tried changing the bit depth from 32 to 16 yet... After more than two dozen attempts today, still no progress on my part. Same results with 16bit color set in the in-game settings. I tested in native Win-10 mode, Win7 compatibility, XP2 compatibility, al...

Re: Windows 10 success
Hi Filton Boy, So I have been playing with Windows 10 now for a week or two, and have had mixed results. Some failures, some successes, and I have things working now, but the problem is not yet solved for me. I have been playing with compatibility settings, graphics card settings, monitor settings, ...

Re: Windows 10 success
Excellent, thanks Stickman! I really appreciate your input, and can't say thanks enough to you & the rest of the BDG team for all the great work here. I am just headed off to work this morning, so I will be away from home for a few days, but I will definitely do more testing once I'm back and wi...

Re: BoB2 Under Windows 10 problems
Hi All, After a bunch of playing around with settings, compatibility modes, and other tweaking - I seem to be having success with Windows 10. I have posted a detailed description of how I set everything up in the Windows 10 Success thread, link below: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=...

Re: Windows 10 success
Hi All, an update on my Windows 10 BOBII progress: So as posted above, I had some initial success running it with Windows XP/SP3 compatibility mode, as detailed in my post above. On my system, there seem to be only TWO types of game crashes: 1) Game loads to the main menu, upon selecting "Insta...

Re: BOB2 on Windows 10
I am pleased to say I am also having success with Windows 10. A few hiccups along the way, but not too bad at all. Basically did a clean install of BoBII, played with the compatibility mode settings, then played with the in-game graphics settings, and it is running beautifully. Detailed description ...

Re: Windows 10 success
Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I've been to these forums but I've recently decided to get back into BoBII again. Great to see the ongoing development, even though it's moving slowly, I'm just glad that things are still moving at all! A huge thanks to everyone at BDG for keeping this alive...

Re: sorry- but a few more questions
Stickman - you do amazing work, and first off, I just want to say Mahalo! Thanks for all the awesome stuff you do around here. Second - I believe I heard a request for Hurricane gauge pics? Here you go - hope this helps! From the Air Ministry publication 1564B & D, which covers the Hurricane IIA...

Re: Dud rounds
Brilliant deduction, Buddye. Your theory makes perfect sense of what I've been experiencing in my new campaign since upgrading with Hotfix 2. So, for the record, my results support what you're saying. Looking forward to your next update. However, PLEASE don't be codin' when that storm be a blowin'! ...

Re: Japanese Zero at Narita Airport
According to the second list, at least two A6Ms are privately owned by Mr Harada in Tokyo; with little more information to go by, perhaps this is a clue? Edit: The Harada collection. NICE find, Skycat - I enjoyed perusing that one. Interesting topic this, I'm DYING to know if Heinkill got any photo...

Re: Japanese Zero at Narita Airport
Well isn't that how they got from Japan to Hawaii the first time? My best guess is it's part of the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences which is right by the Narita airport. Might be a scale rebuild? Which might explain why it's smaller than you thought it might be? Just guessing. Did you get ...
