A Caipirinha, Rio, and the 377...

Since I've bought the 377/AccuSim package yesterday I've spent quite a bit of time with it, thank god for holidays... :D And since I'm slowly beginning to feel comfortable operating this beauty (even that British chap stopped yelling at me, well...most of the time at least...) I thought it's time fo...

After you've installed the Accu-Sim package there should be a PDF file (B377_Accusim_Manual) in your ...\flightsimx\A2A\B377 folder. Also, by pressing "shift-3" while in the 377 you can access the control panel where you can see if AccuSim is activated or not, and where you can activate it...

'Engine stress damages engine'?

In the manual (p. 15) it says to enable this feature in FSX. But in my version of FSX (SP2) there is no such setting in the 'realism tab'. Is this something Acceleration-exclusive?

I am wondering if by re-installing, you were just changing all of your options back to default... Well possible, if by that you mean stuff like the CFG/INI files, because the ingame options are set the way they were before, that is at pretty much high-max settings. I'm pretty sure one of the (freew...

Yeehaaw! The fresh FSX install fixed my FPS problems. 28 FPS (which is what I locked the FPS at) steady in the virtual cockpit now! Same in the outside views, totally smooth now. Just took a little flight and I'm sooo happy now. What an amazing addon. I can see myself spending A LOT of time with thi...

Hi Scott, thanks for the quick reply. Yes, in the no-cockpit-view I get 25 FPS at Stuttgart airport.

EDIT: I guess I'll just re-install FSX. Maybe I have fubar'ed something with an addon plane or something like that. I'll report back later...

6-10 FPS in virtual cockpit? -FIXED- :)

I've just bought, downloaded and installed the Stratocruiser/Accu-Sim package. Unfortunately I have massive FPS problems in the virtual cockpit view, FPS range from 6-10 FPS. My system is a Core2Duo E6750, ATI 3870 (512MB), 2 Gigs RAM, WinXP, latest drivers, clean system. I run FSX at 1280x960, 4xFS...

I could download both the patch and multiskin from Gamershell without problems at max speed (360kb/s), download and installation worked just fine. Love the new 3d models and the texture improvements. And the skins. And the 109 cockpit. And the better view in the 110. And did I mention the lovely ski...

Yes, that got me earlier today, too.

I had just installed the Track IR software/drivers, tried it out in BoB2 (works absolutely brilliant, BTW), then suddenly realized that my internet was AWOL...

Took me a while to find the real culprit. Bastiches...
