Re: Install Procedures

Well said Lewis As a matter of fact yes it was well said Ron, and my apologies Lewis, I'm not sure what time it was, but would have been less than half an hour after you logged off for the night in your time zone that I first sent a message via the site for help, so I would say a case of ships pass...

Re: Install Procedures

I would love to install it... if I had something to install :x 0 downloads left, 0 COTS B377 on my hard drive and my credit card is US$60 lighter, thanks to a crappy A2A server link (again). 2nd time this has happened to me off the A2A website (Accusim B-17 last year as well). Why in God's name do w...

Re: Bubble Canopy?

Ugly as sin??? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As for me...I think its beautiful. So is the early Spit. and other early fighters like the Curtis P36 Hawk. I'd love to see A2A do one of those. IMHO :) :) Yeah, I'm just having a vent, if I didn't like them I wouldn't have bought them :D...

Re: Bubble Canopy?

Yes. The bubble canopy was the summit of engineering on teh P-74, it could dive faster, more aerodynamic, and had 100% better pilot visibility. This should be added!!! I completely agree. The biggest disappointment of A2A is the eccentric choice of aircraft. They all get modelled to such a high sta...

Re: Screenshots and Manuals

To that end, is there something extra the Jug has that makes it more expensive? I would say not, at least in terms of features. The Spitfire benefits from the advancements pioneered by the B-17G and the Piper Cub, which were both after the Thunderbolt, so it has more features than the P-47. I'm sur...

Re: Screenshots and Manuals

Great shots all. Here's one showing the P-47 next to the Spit http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/5598/enb2011131211151.jpg ] Nice pic. Excuse my ignorance, as I only own the WOP2 Jug, but why is the Accusim bundle for the WOP3 version US$11 more than the (much newer) WOP3 Spit provided you owned pr...

Re: Aircraft Factory launches the Heinkel He-219 for FSX

Okie dokie, Well then ladies and gentlemen, here is the Aircraft Factory He-219 in all its native FSX glory. Its been a great aircraft to build and fly within FSX and I hope you too will enjoy her. A video is of course worth a thousand words and a hundred screenshots, and Jaggyroad did an excellent...

Re: Accusim for B-17

Will the Accusim be for the WOP 2 B-17, or like the P-47, be a whole new model? I almost bought the Accusim for my P-47 (WOP2) by mistake, thinking it would work on my model. Lucky I read the forum first! Not a huge fan of the jug, but would love an Accusim pack for my Aircraft Factory Corsa...

Maybe also add the sound of the engines running up when bombs are released, like they do in the real Memphis Belle doco movie?

Re: Aircraft Factory F4U Corsair Released

I'm a great fan of the F-4U, however I would like to know how it stacks up against the other A2A aircraft such as the P-47 without Accusim. I recently purchased this (the P-47), and am very pleased with it overall, an may upgrade it with the Accusim pack, although I am personally not a huge fan of t...

Re: P-47 solo for FSX

Thanks for the link, very useful. I have just bought it myself, and am very impressed with it, given that I already have the WOP 2 B17G, P51D and Aircraft powerpack for CFS3 (pity it is such a crap sim overall, would be great to have this quality of aircraft imported into a real combat sim like IL2 ...
