Re: Flying with both fuel tanks selected?

Besides... one creates a fuel imbalance in the first place when the fuel is being consumed asymmetrically by only using one tank at a time, right?

You keep saying "AI", but I think you mean CGI, as in Computer Generated Images (aka Visual Effects). AI is reserved for Artificial Intelligence which doesn't really fit here.

Original classic! 65 HP, steam gauges, no flaps. Basically the same Cub that you did for FSX, paddles, Heidi and everything. ;)

https://i.imgur.com/YGqoCYM.png How did you managed to insert the country flags with such a good quality? I tried to but the small elements of the flag will just show as 2 or 3 pixels after scaling. Nothing special. I simply open the paintkit in Photoshop, put in the flag, convert to a smart object...

Re: Engine cooldown sounds missing again

Hello, Those sounds should still be present with v1.2 though please bear in mind it's a cockpit/walkaround sound effect at present, they won't be present if you're using the external camera Are there any plans to add that sound to the external drone / showcase camera? Because that's where I do most...

MkIV Hvd wrote: 15 Aug 2023, 12:56 Also, if you need an actual chronometer to time fuel tank selections, while there a clock on the panel with hands for reference, it could be that piloting is not for you…😉
Hehe, yeah. A clock is literally a chronometer.

Re: Why would you want to switch tanks?

Crossfeeding is definitely an issue. I believe there even is a placard in the cockpit, reminding you to close at least one fuel shutoff valve when parking the aircraft. Crossfeeding is also the reason why it is recommended to run the engine off one tank at a time only. While it might not be an issue...

Fuel Starvation Test

I did a little test to see how long it takes to starve the engine at different RPM. As you can see, the results are unsurprisingly different, depending on the power setting. Also, look at the fuel pressure gauge: you can see that a problem is developing even before the engine begins to sputter. Cool...

Re: Update from v1.1.0 to v1.2.0 flawless!

Agreed! It went super quick and painless. A2A, iniBuilds and PMDG have the most convenient update procedures. Just a click and you're done. No going to the website, downloading the package again (often several gigabytes) and reinstalling the entire aircraft. Thanks!
