Re: Testing BOBII on W11with 2.13

Buddye, you're welcome back. So far, I can run BoBII in DX11 in DgVoodoo, without ctd, even in combat in the Battle of Britain Day quick mission. The only snag is that, so far, I can only get it to run in 4:3 aspect ratio. When I extend it to widescreen 16:9, I get an immediate ctd. It's frustrating...

Re: Testing BOBII on W11with 2.13

Hello, everyone, I have been away for a long time. And a particular hello to Buddye, you seemed to disappear from the face of the earth all those years ago. Has anyone tried running BoBII through DGVoodoo2? I'm trying it at the moment and getting variable results. Initially, it seemed very promising...

The 2.12 patch is available at 'The Patches Scrolls', if that's any help.

Re: Subscriber Modifications

Thanks for that. I interpret your detailed reviews as implying that the two simulations aren't really direct competitors but are offering two contrasting aspects of their subject, making it worthwhile to have both of them. My limitation is hardware, but in the event of a future upgrade, WoTR will be...

Re: Subscriber Modifications

Lima, how would the two simulations compare? To me, having kept up with most of your posts, the overall appearance of BoBII is still the more realistic-looking of the two. However, you've tinkered with both very much more deeply.

Re: Subscriber Modifications

Looks very good. Should we continue to incorporate the 'streams mod' with this new one?

Re: OT - Wings over the Reich - WIP - tighter formations

Thanks very much, Lima, for a very comprehensive answer. I know well where I stand now. I'm not that different from you, spec-wise, at all. I might think about it, although I can run BoBII and EAW trouble-free and without putting any strain on my pc or card. I like to monitor the temperature of my g...
