Re: No internal sounds in the Cherokee, P3D 3.2
Thanks again Nick. I did that too and just completed a nice flight. I have never flown a real Cherokee, only Cessnas and a Super Cub, but this one somehow feels right, even better than the 172, with which I can relate more.

Re: No internal sounds in the Cherokee, P3D 3.2
Hi Nick! The volume bar was indeed the culprit! I have never noticed that bar and I wonder why it was set to 0 in the 180 while it is set at max for all other accusim planes. Anyway, I'm happy again. Thanks!

No internal sounds in the Cherokee, P3D 3.2
Hi guys! I recently installed all my P3D enabled Accusim planes in P3D 3.2. I downloaded the latest installers for P3D 3.2 from my account and applied the latest Accusim update. The planes were the 172, 182, Comanche, Cherokee and the T-6. I had purchased the bundle FSX/P3D for all of these. All pla...

Re: Door opens and closes
I also noted that if you try to open the door with the engine running the slipstream keeps it shut. Nice touch!

Re: VC shadows?
Thank you Michael! It was the "Force VC walls" option that I had ticked that caused this. Deselecting that fixed the shadows. I don't even know why I had that selected but it did not seem to affect the 172. Anyway, thank you for the stellar support again, even on a subject that was not dir...

Re: VC shadows?
Lewis, I tried again with no luck. I even reinstalled the plane. Here is how the 172 and the PA28 show at the same location: http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii181/VDimus/fsx2014-05-2820-13-11-84_zps7dca5ee2.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii181/VDimus/fsx2014-05-2820-13-56-16_zpsb3b4466e.j...

Re: VC shadows?
You're right about the black panel. Actually I flew both the P3D and the FSX versions and was looking at the floor and door sides. In P3D the shadows were very visible and baeutiful: http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii181/VDimus/2014-5-27_22-55-38-524_zpsce213b14.jpg Unfortunately I did not take p...

VC shadows?
First of all, great product, maybe indeed your best so far! The flying feeling is amazing! I have to go fly a real one now as my only RL experience is on Cessnas and Cubs. One small detail: I see no VC shadows in DX10 and can not enable them with Steve's fixer. The 172 had great shadows by default a...

Re: Accu-Sim Version 2.0 Core Update
I installed this update for FSX. Maybe this is not the right place to ask but can you please explain to me the procedure to also get the P3D license and installer, aasuming that I am already an FSX client? I understood from other posts that the cost will be $30 for the next 30 days but I have not cl...

Re: It does float
It's interesting to see so many educated replies to this. I have to admit that even though a low timed pilot, I do fly by feel more than numbers. When on approach I just glance on the ASI occasionally to make sure I am not "too slow" and stall, or "too fast" and never make it. Th...

It does float
Just to come back to the topic, I wanted to show you a vid my friend made last Sunday when we flew G-IMAD from Tatoi, a C172P. Both approaches down to the threshold were made at 65 to 70 knots with 20 degrees flap, wind was calm. Not my best touchdowns, should have used full flap and held the nose h...

Re: 172 P
I added a blue interior for the glass, which was made by forum member Dimus. However, never having been in a Cessna with a blue tint, I can't say for certain how blue it should look from the inside, if at all... Is this a little too much? It is available on page 11 of this thread: http://a2asimulat...

Re: How it shows in DX10
Just to confirm that for me using the fixer program makes the beacon work very nicely. I may post a video if I find the time to process it.

From this shot I took it looks like it's working:

How it shows in DX10
These are taken after switching to DX10 using Steve's payware fixer: Cockpit shadows: http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii181/VDimus/fsx2013-10-1921-22-29-71_zps4b06c016.jpg~original Landing at Skiathos, check the light bloom: http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii181/VDimus/fsx2013-10-1921-27-57-90...
