Re: FPS problem in the 182
You are not alone. I get this exact same issue as well. Especially the 182. Now since the G750 was added to the Cherokee, I get it there too. Cherokee is a slightly different issue... Outside I can be pinned at 40 fps external view regardless of scenery Inside still good. Start plane GTN fires up an...

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
I think the biggest impact on frame rate is the integrated GTN 750. I get pretty good frames using the default or the RXP unit, but once I install the GTN I lose 10 frames or more. It's a shame, because the GTN has very little impact as a 2D popup. This isn't a criticism of A2A...more like a realit...

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
People with the new Citation from Carenado are complaining about framerate. Someone changed the textures from 4096 to 2048. seemed to fix it. I wonder what the cockpit textures are in the 182.

All that matters to me is where do you get that repaint?

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
I hope A2A can figure out the secret sauce they used in the VC for the Cherokee versus the 182. This plane would be amazing at the framerates I get with the cherokee 180. Charles. Or indeed to get rid of the extra stale sauce that is inside the instrument panel of the 182? ;-) I really love flying ...

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
Uninstalled the C182T. Uninstalled my GTN750 for P3D. Reinstalled latest GTN750. Installed the C182T and ran the updater. Confirmed I am on latest version of P3Dv2. Tested again last night. Comparing C182T against Cherokee 180 framerates with vsync enabled but fps set to unlimited. Windows 7 64. AMD...

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
For me this is not so much about having the cursor on or off.... Or finding settings that seem to help by dialing details or AA back or any of that. It is the fact that I see an average reduction in framerate of about 40% from the VC when comparing the 182 and the Cherokee. Flying around in NCA from...

Re: Low Frame-rates - FSX
Hello Curt, no idea on that I'm afraid as I don't own the RXP units, however given the larger screen size and advanced functionality I'd say its more complicated but again its assumption as its not our gauge we just have it viewable in the VC. thanks, Lewis Hi Lewis, I find myself in the low frame ...

Re: Accu-Sim Skylane Manual DOWNLOAD
GTN 750 as well? This seals the deal for P3D owners. Finally some deep avionics to make P3D a robust platform finally. An A2A complex GA bird with some real Garmin all in P3D? Seriously? We are truly at a milestone in simulation. Take notice other devs. This is the bar... good luck. My credit card i...
