Re: Spit I/II package in P3Dv4.5.13 Breaks Simconnect.
The good news is... I fixed it. The bad news is... I don't have a clue how. First thing this morning, CCleaner piped up that it really, really, wanted me to run it. Primarily, I think, because of the sheer number of installs and uninstalls I've done this week. So I let it run, including cleaning up ...

Re: Spit I/II package in P3Dv4.5.13 Breaks Simconnect.
Hi Lewis, Go through it as step by step as I can... This is a bit of a stream of consciousness, sorry, as I'm busy fault finding myself. - The installer is "Spitfire P3Dv4 Academic.exe", version 18.4.30.0, dated 28/05/2018 12:36. - The installation is direct, not copied, and the installati...

Spit I/II package in P3Dv4.5.13 Breaks Simconnect.
Hello folks. I've snit a major hag with P3Dv4.5 and the Accu-Sim fleet. Put simply, since earlier this week, all my Accu-Sim aircraft have stopped working. So I tried non-default aircraft from other developers and they didn't work any more, either - some in very interesting ways. I tried all the usu...

Re: More German Scenery (...in France...) from me
None of my stuff is currently P3Dv4 native, in that it is compiled with the FSX SDK at present, but it all works without issue in P3Dv4.whatever I am running (might still be 4.4, I'm not sure). I test in both FSX and P3Dv4 and I can compile my sceneries in P3D, I just need to convert all my objects ...

Re: More German Scenery (...in France...) from me
Thanks folks. You might like to take a look at all the other stuff on my site then, Volker... Lots of grass, some evil short field landings over trees (I'm looking at you, Bodney!) and lots of places to reconnoitre... There are also a couple more fields in France for the Luftwaffe to fly from (Trame...

More German Scenery (...in France...) from me
Hi folks. This one is, again, sort of A2A related, so I'll post it here in case anyone is interested. I've just uploaded my rendition of Lille-Nord to my site, here: https://www.ianpsdarkcorner.co.uk/flight-sim/historical-scenery/luftwaffe-airfields/lille-nord/ - although this was primarily a bomber...

Re: Risky "flight sim" business
He is a Russian citizen, but the only relevance of that fact is that the criminal offence he committed was breaching the restrictions that prevented the export of the documentation to specified countries. That's a wordy way of saying that "he paid to get the documents into a country he wasn't a...

Re: Risky "flight sim" business
And there were... three? companies that Tishma set up after Papa Tango, after declaring himself bankrupt to avoid paying developers, not once, but twice? Ariane was his last company that I'm aware of. I was told several years ago that he had no involvement with them after the initial setup, but they...

Re: A Luftwaffe Airfield Question for the Knowledgable Types...
Hi 33lima3, thanks for the reply. :) Since I posted this, I've got a copy of Dressel/Griehl's "Luftwaffe Airfield Equipment", translated into English, but it doesn't help much, either. Kfz.301 and 302 were the designations of the radio trucks - the former being a "heavy" variant ...

A Luftwaffe Airfield Question for the Knowledgable Types...
Hi folks. I have a question which the internet seems unable to answer, so I'm hoping that people with far more resources than me will see this and be able to comment! Does anyone know what ground-to-air non-radio communications were used at WW2 Luftwaffe airfields - particularly those of a more temp...

Re: New Game Out: Plane Mechanic Simulator
Having finally escaped the Tiger Moth and entered the land of the Merlin's roar, I can safely say that I really like this game. I did a "first look" on Twitch, too, but I doubt the video is still there on my account (twitch.tv/amarillon) because they delete them after a fairly short period...

Re: Vintage military airfields for P3d?
Sorry I'm rather late to this thread - I've been up to my elbows in "Dunkelgrau" and wondering why the Luftwaffe had to make everything so bleeping complicated! Scowls at the GPU that's just finished AO rendering and now awaits texturing... Anyway. All my stuff works with P3Dv4 to the best...

Re: Not Dead Yet!
Thanks Jacques. I've got everything in P3Dv4 and working apparently fine - including the SODE bits. I also actually have an addon ini file set up for the All-in-One stuff, which I can put up, so that people who don't want to write their own can install it all into P3dv4 Addons and it will all work. ...
