Also loved his repaints, especially on the Mustang.
Rest in peace

Re: B-17?
Really looking forward to it as well. The chilling hum of the four Cyclones after enjoying to start them up. And quite a relaxing machine in the air as well.
The Connie is also good, but a different kind of machine.

Re: Hahnweide 2019 (picture update)
Great detail shots. Thanks for adding them. 7:30am at the Autobahn exit, was a bit late, took me half an hour to get to parking lot and I had to rush through the flightline before they was closed. :( I've a couple of Bf-108 slat detail shots with the dew on the wings too. Mr.Mugel Sorry for the hug...

Re: Supercharger whistle missing in P3D?
Gun ports are only a part of it, if at all. I´ve seen Mustangs without the ports whistling just the same. And power is important, as it changes the whole airflow around the aircraft. Still it might come at lower power settings (IIRC it started at around 50-52" in FSX), as it happens with moder...

Re: Hahnweide 2019 (picture update)
Been a while since I posted here, just wanted to add a couple of shots I´ve taken there. I didn´t have a zoom lens, so these are mainly from the morning walks into the flight line. More like moody shots, but maybe some of you may enjoy them as well. Also @gulredrel very nice pictures! I hope you d...

Hey peoples, please hang tight whilst we go through the go live process. There's rather a few GB's a data that's currently moving about. thanks, Lewis Is the Bonanza that big? Thought a few hundred MB would be enough. ;) You´re forgetting the P3D versions of the warbirds. :) Currenty hardly have...

Re: A2A Development Update Dec 2017
An Accusim B-25 might make me consider getting a yoke. Long range capable, two engines to take care off, agile enough to pull off a good show and being able to operate from a glider field (Loved to see those machines at Hahnweide). My gut tells me it isn´t that though. We´ll see. A new Accusim...

Had some fun in the Connie flying from Redding through the cold dusk into KSFO. https://image.ibb.co/egTB4m/2017_12_17_23_12_43_501.jpg https://image.ibb.co/c0ONAR/2017_12_18_0_12_32_833.jpg https://image.ibb.co/gPaVx6/2017_12_18_0_12_37_620.jpg https://image.ibb.co/bPCXAR/2017_12_18_0_39_5_363.jpg ...

Re: P3D v4 Accu-Sim Aircraft State Location
I'd advise you to select "Ignore crashes and damage" in the settings. The Accusim damage still works properly that way including gear damage for hard landings, prop strikes, etc. The default crash detection is really buggy, especially with Addons, so better ignore it. If I'm rememvering co...

Re: Controls issue
Okay, eliminated those issues I guess by switching to the "DirectInput" method in the "Controls/Other" tab. Might be worth a big statement somewhere for P3D noobs like me. Got some other issues with that but those don´t seem to be A2A related. (Actually they are kinda, but IÂ...

Controls issue
I´ve recently moved to P3D V4.1 and bought the T-6. In general it´s great. But I have some issues with the rudder control mainly. First thing is on the ground. The tailwheel lock / unlock using the stick forward backward is really strange for me. At higher ground speed it seems like the wheel ...

Re: Dunkirk Movie – not recommended
Interesting, I thought it was very refreshing to see a movie not following the usual concept (Father was a war hero and he couldn´t wait to serve his country and was by chance an almost superhuman soldier who just does everything right throughout the movie kind of stuff). Not really knowing the c...

Re: A2A Ruined "Dunkirk" For Me (SPOILER ALERT)
Thanks for the Trivia supplied in this thread. I wondered why the shots from the side of the plane showed the fuselage so round. Being shot on a Yak-52 explains it, though. As well as the white wooden throttle handle. I really liked the atmosphere and the concept of the movie. Well worth watching in...
