Not free but still pretty cheap, there is a P-47 Manual available from the MAAM-Sim Store:

Hi bazzah,

Did you not keep the downloaded installation file ? If you did, then simply reinstall FS2004 and re-run the installer.

As you only got it yesterday I would have thought that you should still have the file (or it may still be in your Deleted Items folder and recoverable.)

Hi Panther,

As the two pilots appear to be modelled similarly (wearing the oxygen mask) is there any significance to the colour of the life-preserver depicted, and is the "blue" one from the Uhu more appropriate than the yellow one originally provided ?

Hi Cliff, Much though I love the Spitfire, if anything I think that the Hurricane has more character and I'm sure I don't need to tell you that it was actually the plane that probably won the Battle of Britain. Somehow its always been the Spitfire's poor relation ! I'm just sorry that there are so f...

Hi Simon !

You sound like you must have some inside information, so I expect that you're right, even if I don't quite understand what you mean in that cryptic answer !

Either way, I'm sill happy with the MAAM cockpit, even more so with the latest update.

Why not simply alias the WWII Fighters P-51 sound to the original P-51; that way, if you change your mind it would be a simple fix to revert to the original sound pack.

Bearing in mind that "full training" was a luxury during the War, I suspect that more than one pilot experienced the same scenario that you proposed. Normally there would be a transition period with a new Mark of plane, however, at least in the early period, such as during the Battle of Br...

Hi Jaap, As far as I was aware, the MAAM R4D cockpit is as it was during its service life ! I may be wrong, and what it now flies with has been brought up to date, but given the striving for accurately portraying the actual bird (within the limitations of FS2004) its not something I'd really thought...
