Re: P-51 tailwheel not down

It is the WWII solo version. Got it about a year or less ago and has as far as I know the latest updates.

P-51 tailwheel not down

Just noticed, after turning on aircraft shadow, that the tailwheel is about 2 or 3 inches above the apron. Can anyone tell me or show me what numbers in the cnf. file to change to bring her down?
Thanks

P-51 startup

Is there a way to make the startup more realistic? What I am saying is, slow rotation of about 8 or 10 blades and then all the smoke and noise as she comes to life. One other question. Most of the Mustangs I see today have the square tipped paddle blade props. The face of the blade, as seen from coc...

I have the SkyUnlimited P-38 and like it fine. As for a Corsair a F2G I would go for. Like the power of a P&W 4360. Another Navy aircraft I long for is the F7F & F8F.

I sure would like to have a new F2G2 Corsair, the one with the P&W 4360 engine. Have another payware F2G but it's not that good.

A T-6, SNJ would sure be nice to have. Hope you could make her handle on the ground, takeoff and landing, and fly like the real thing. Have been told by a Navy pilot friend that if you can fly a T-6/SNJ you can fly anything WWII type.
Also a very good PT-17 would be great.

Have not changed a thing. Tried it again and now it works. Have been looking for that hyd. valve but can't seem to find it. If I shut down the engine, flaps full down, the gear doors only open about 1/3 of the way.

Aircraft drops to ramp

Just installed the update v.1.2 the Mustang now drops from I would guess about 20 or 30 feet above the ramp at Seattle. Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? If there is something I need to change in a file someplace please spell it out step by step. Don't know much about that stuff. Than...

B-29 & other aircraft throttle question & other prob

I am writing this forum because it is about the only one I get an answer from. When I first started to fly the B-29 I was just able to clear the trees at the end of a 11,000+ ft. runway and would stall almost every time climbing out. Finally noticed that at full throttle, on CH Products Fighterstick...

Wish list

The F8F is one great airplane Panther. Have a friend that flew all the
WWII Navy planes, including the F2G-2 Corsair, and says the Bearcat
was about the easiest of them all to fly, fast roll rate, and fast. But how about the F7F? Two big 2800 Pratts bolted to a very cool and slippery airframe.

Props

Thanks WND, kind of thought that was the answer. Do the paddle blades
give better performance? Lucky person, got to work on the P-51. No need to tell you that it is a great airplane. Right?

Props

A lot of the P-51's I see at airshows have paddle blade props. Why not on
WoP Mustangs?

On my wish list for new aircraft fromWoP would be.
1) F82 Twin Mustang.
2) F7F Tigercat.
3) F8F Bearcat.
4) P-38 Lightning
4) Have been looking for a flying boat of the quality of WoP aircraft,
so how about the Martin Seamaster. Four jet engines, swept wings,
looks cool.

2D panel and things

Just downloaded the P-47. Like the XP-72, anything with a 4360 in it. Do you know about the XP-47? Had a Chrysler inverted V-16 engine, the first Hemi I have been told. Better than 500 MPH at 15,000 ft. Now for the questions. How do I get the instrument panel, down to the Alt. VSI etc. gauges, in th...
