Forgot to "disable desktop composition"! I still am getting black screens when the scenario is loading, but not as frequently. Happens randomly regardless of the numbers of aircraft and amount of processor work involved. I have an eight-core very high end system so "note 5" does ...

No, it didn't. Sometimes the Instant Action scenarios work, sometimes they freeze, and sometimes I get a black screen.

Yes, but smoke the color of a freshly painted Navy Blue Hellcat. It is dark blue It doesn't look right. Engines burning oil do not spit dark blue smoke. Also, the 2000hp engine noise could hardly be heard over rain patter---even at full throttle. I'm wondering if something is wrong with my installat...

I know, but dark blue smoke? Looks unrealistic unless somebody left a drum of Navy Blue in the fuel tank!

I tried to hop in without reading the manual and ended up in a field in flames after about five minutes! I was getting deep blue smoke from my exhausts when I started up---was this what Hendrix was talking about in "Purple Haze"?
