Re: A2A downloads, any left? Where?
Thanks, Lewis, but got it sorted. Really appreciate A2A's quick support, it is as outstanding as your aircraft.

Ah, I found the locations. As Emily Latella used to say, "Never mind."

A2A downloads, any left? Where?
Trying to get back some of the A2A planes that I originally had in the boxed version of FTX Acel. (Deleted that while I was flirting with P3D.) Now I have committed to FTX-SE. Been to your store, but don't see that I have any reloads left, don't think it was the case before? Any help with that? P.S....

Re: Landing gear retract time
Differential retraction has always been an indicator of sim fidelity to me. I remember EAW had symmetrical retraction, and then along came Il-2 (I think it was) that had "lagging" gear retraction. It's one of the two things that I find lacking in the Realair Legacy (although in that case i...

Re: Oh my God....
Just a little tidbit about flying high w/o oxygen.
In reading memoirs of WW1 pilots, they speak of flying at 20,000 feet when on patrol, and this without heating as well as no supplemental oxygen! And this is in combat scenarios where brain function should be 100%.
Iron men, indeed.

Color significance on panel switches ?
I've been wondering about this for quite awhile, what is the reason for having all the different colors on the switches, red, orange, yellow, blue, etc? Is this some sort of mnemonic?

Thanks. Lewis.Lewis - A2A wrote:as easy as using the dxfixer itself, ie easier than the default fsx settings, just click dx9 and away you go.

Re: Thinking of getting Steves dx10 fixer
I have an almost pathological hatred for "tweaking" anything to do with FSX, so I just have one question>>How easy is it to go back to DX9 if I decide Steve's Fixer is not for me?

Re: What great aircraft do you hate?
I wish I could find the reference - I think it might have been in Air and Space years ago - but I remember an article about WWI aircraft where a well-known stunt pilot, who'd been flying a replica Fokker Dr.I for a movie, said something to the effect that "I constantly have to remind myself th...

Great update, thanks.
I would really like to see, someday, a book with the title "The A2A Story." You guys are really changing the face of FSX, KUDOS!
