FSX SE What Camera Do You Use?
I had used EZDOK 2.0 since 2017ish. Then I moved to chaseplane. And now I wonder what everyone else favors?
Ease of use
Depth if you want it
Adds to immersion
Thanks in advance.

+1 GTN
I have the combined package - I love them. They make almost every aspect of a flight that much easier.
From taxing to avoiding airspace enroute they do it all.

Re: Comanche 250 and DX10 Fixer
I have it and have gone aloft recently. No issues here.BigT-65 wrote:Anyone running FSX-SE with DX10 Fixer that has an A2A Piper Comanche 250 and has tried flying it? Mine causes FSX to go to the End Flight screen after about 10 seconds.

On the face of it, yes.jwontf wrote:Just noticed that the larger of the two gauges is labelled GTN 650 and the smaller 750.
Is this the wrong way round?
The 750 is a full screen affair while the 650 is a half screen iteration.

Re: GTN 750 Black Screen
Sorry to necro. I had to switch from FSX boxed to SE. But this and several other threads HERE saved me and my flying passion. ALL the myriad details when you have 5 aircraft (all A2A, of course), two weather apps (ASN 2016 & ASCA), two gps (GTN 650 & 750) and a couple of terrain apps (GTX &a...

And altitude.
Which plugs do you have installed? Which oil? Fairing? Tip tanks? You get the idea.
After you work out those items if you are serious you should work up basic weights and then apply to the airports you plan to visit along the route.
It all starts with a chart.

Re: Losing Power
As well as heat try leaning your mix a bit as this raises the cylinder temps too.

Re: Carb icing?
Add in something like AS and it's amazing. Last week when the temps dipped into the 40s here in Los Angeles I watched power just fade as I climbed. Leaned the fuel a bit for the cylinder heads and a touch of carb heat and I was fine. Then I took the C 182 up - "Where is the damned carb heat?&qu...

Re: Boy, I sure hate the Comanche.
Yeah, the flare was the first issue I had with the Comanche, but it is easily solved.
As others have said, regardless of your trim, if you get your airspeed to 90 mph when you cross the wire it almost lands itself.
I find airspeed to be the single most important factor when putting the Comanche down.
