Re: Accu-Sim Comanche MSFS Cockpit Screenshots
Haven't checked in in a while, still on FSX and have a hanger full of A2A. I am totally pumped to see A2A for MSFS2020. I will be moving spring of next year and downsizing to a retirement community and upgrading to a new SOTA Jetline PC at that time.. I've stayed with FSX hoping some of the planes I...

Re: Returning to the sky after a long hiatus
Will do Nick, and thanks. First order of business after the holidays are over is replace my vintage 2007 Win 7 laptop in January with a Win 10 one. (I use it for everything other than flight sim-ing and its falling apart - the DVD tray separated from the drive a few months back - using SanDisk flash...

Re: Returning to the sky after a long hiatus
Well, that didn't take long. Just got an E-Mail from the store listing all my purchases migrated plus Accu-Feel and the Corsair I'd forgotten I had. Impressive!
Now to move forward with a new PC and P3D.
Thank you A2A.

Re: Returning to the sky after a long hiatus
Thanks Nick, I'll check the new store in a week to see what's migrated. I was surprised when I located my first purchase receipt from 2007, especially considering I started sim-ing in 1998. The years fly by. I was a daily flyer to Jan 2016 and then it became more sporadic. Earlier this year my main ...

Returning to the sky after a long hiatus
Hello all, long time no post. I started sim-ing in 1998 and in Jan. 2016 took a break and got into some other stuff. I recently started flying again and find I need a lot of re-training / re-learning, LOL! Some things I never forgot, hopped into the J3 and it was like I never stopped flying almost d...

Returning to sky after a hiatus, need to get up to speed.
Moved to Pilots Lounge, didn't realize I was in specific plane tech support thread.

The EULA
Not sure if this has already been noted but a search indicated it hadn't. Just purchased the T-6 and the EULA refers to the Comanche 250. No big deal but thought I would pass on. Now to print and study the manual a bit and savor the anticipation of installing and firing her up for the first time. I'...

Re: Prop control lever - mysteriously cuts out
I think your both right. My FSX / Controls /Buttons - Keys has 4 key press combinations for adjusting the RPM. CTL + F2, F3, F4 (which I personally, have never used since FS98') increase and decrease the RPM. I'll bet sloppy thumb and pointer finger dancing on the keyboard by me to bring up the A2A ...

Prop control lever - mysteriously cuts out
I've had this problem happen several times over the past several weeks and I'm baffled. Twice yesterday (within 60 seconds of each other) on a final approach at 2,000' @ 80 knots and using the GTN 750 autopilot following a flight plan. Suddenly the prop control lever (in sim) jumps full out and the ...

Re: autopilot failure
OK, re-running Accusim update after deleting the Cherokee Update folder fixed the issue, S-TEC now tracks GTN750 flight plan in GPS Mode. May have figured out NAV/COM 1 issue. After re-running Accusim update I reset GTN Config back to NAV/COM 1 for the Cherokee before firing up FSX. I also cleaned o...

Re: autopilot failure
FSX Accel on dx9. Just FYI, my AP in the Cherokee will no longer track, it will only work on HDG mode and manually moving the bug to change course. I have no idea why. I've had this plane since it was released and can't remember this happening before. I tried all possible combinations of cold start ...

Re: A2A Piper Cherokee Videos
Brilliant, I'm going to study this one several times. Since the Cherokee (and Comanche) have been released I've read the manuals on the integrated autopilot that comes with those models over and over, but was still making terribly sloppy tight turns in my flight plans with the GTN750. Somehow I was ...
